Lily Allen and David Harbour have reportedly separated after four years of marriage. According to a Daily Mail article published on December 23, a friend of the singer confirmed the news of their separation to the outlet.
Simultaneously, a source unrelated to the couple claimed to have found Lily's profile on the celebrity dating app Raya last week. Lily, 39, is allegedly looking for someone to go to "couples therapy" with.
Individuals who allegedly came across her profile on Raya claimed Lily did not mention whether she was looking for a platonic friendship or a potential romantic interest. Her preferences were also reportedly unclear.
Lily's friend purportedly confirmed to Daily Mail that Lily has reactivated her Raya account, but she isn't actively looking for dates as she is still married to David. Lily Allen met David Harbour on the same app around 2019 and tied the knot in 2020. David is also the stepfather of Lily's two daughters, Marnie and Ethel.
Speculations about Lily Allen and David Harbour's separation have been circulating on social media for several months. In recent appearances, the singer has been seen without her engagement ring. The two also reportedly unfollowed each other on Instagram around October 2023.
Words of their supposed split and Lily's alleged Raya profile soon sparked reactions among netizens. Multiple people mentioned Lily and David's Brooklyn house, which was featured in Architectural Digest in 2023. They claimed most of the house's interior decor contrasted with David Harbour's style as they looked different from the actor's New York loft.
Several people criticized Lily Allen, citing her recent revelation of joining an adult website to sell feet pictures.
Some others expressed concerns for Lily's daughters, explaining they appeared quite attached to David Harbour as a father figure, so the supposed split might affect them.
Lily Allen said she had a change in her Christmas plans this year
During an episode on Lily Allen's BBC podcast Miss Me? alongside Miquita Oliver, the singer spoke about some struggles she was having. In the episode aired on December 16, Lily said she and David had been attending couples therapy.
Lily also confessed to having yelled at her daughters in a heated moment:
"I exploded and screamed at the kids. I was like, "I can't handle this at the moment; I'm going through so much, I need you two to behave yourselves."
The singer later apologized to Marnie and Ethel:
"We're all going through some difficult stuff at the moment, so I apologise, and I'm sorry."
Lily told Miquita about her plans to fly from New York to London and then to Nairobi this Christmas. When asked about Christmas dinner, Lily Allen said she loves cooking and its preparation as it's "very therapeutic" for her.
The singer told Miquita her daughters were with her cousin in London.
"Every year I buy four tickets to go and see the Nutcracker at the Lincoln Centre and I have completely forgotten that I have these tickets so they're going to have to go without me tonight."
Elsewhere on the podcast, Lily Allen said she was "bored of men."
Neither the Stranger Things actor nor Lily has addressed the split rumors publicly.
