Elon Musk's timeline on X (formerly Twitter) has been flooded with various memes in the last few days. Notably, one of the memes featuring Brazilian actor and filmmaker Wagner Moura has now grabbed a lot of attention on different platforms.
The meme was shared on November 24, 2024, and included a clip of Moura spotted smoking in an outdoor location. He stands in front of the camera for some time and then walks away, looking to the other side. Musk also wrote on top of the clip:
"Actual footage of me after @realDonaldTrump won."
Elon Musk's meme was posted after the names of people joining Donald Trump's cabinet were shared by different sources. Trump's picks have also become a topic of discussion for the choices made so far.
As per Reuters, Musk was also selected by Trump to co-lead the new Department of Government Efficiency on November 12, 2024. Vivek Ramaswamy has joined the Tesla CEO, and the department will reportedly work to reduce excess regulations, remove wasteful expenditures, and more.
Trump's pick also featured other names such as Todd Blanche as Deputy attorney general, Elise Stefanik as U.N. Ambassador, Pete Hegseth as Defense secretary, Doug Burgum as Interior secretary, Chris Wright as Secretary of energy, Howard Lutnick as Secretary of commerce, and William McGinley as White House counsel.
Although Wagner Moura has not shared any response to the viral meme so far, the comments section of Elon Musk's post was flooded with different reactions. One of them wrote:
"Noooooo! This actor is extremist left and against you."
A user alleged in the reactions that Moura hates Elon Musk, while another posted the same video, replacing the former's face with the latter.
"This actor is Brazilian, liberal, and deeply hates you, Elon" a user wrote on X.
"The actual footage."
Similar responses continued below the post, with an individual alleging that Moura hates Donald Trump alongside others expressing their happiness over the results of the US Presidential Election 2024.
"This actor is Brazilian. He hates Donald Trump and loves Fidel Castro," another user stated.
"Donald J. Trump is going to make America great again!!" one of the reactions reads.
"I secretly want to have another election because it felt so good after this last one" an X reaction mentioned.
Elon Musk started posting memes by giving an alert a few days ago
Although Elon Musk's memes have created headlines, the lineup of posts started on November 21, 2024, when the Tesla CEO shared a meme alert through his official account on X. He wrote on top of a picture:
"They want our memes!"
The photo shows several spaceships appearing in the sky and shadows of many people standing on the ground. The picture features the following words on top:
"Citizens of Earth. Give us your memes."
While Elon Musk has not addressed the reason for sharing the memes, a few of them have started trending, including the ones where Musk appears as Doctor Strange and Iron Man.
