Lindsay Hubbard recently slammed her haters, saying that she's within her right if she decides to monetize her pregnancy after she made over $100k in brand deals this year. While appearing as a guest on Jason Tartick's Trading Secrets podcast on Monday, December 23, the Summer House star got candid about how her bump debut made social media users "very torn up."

She referenced her collaboration with Clearblue in July where she revealed that she was expecting her first baby, using a positive pregnancy test and showing off her baby bump. Talking about the controversy from netizens afterward, she said:

"They were like, 'I can't believe she monetized her pregnancy announcement.' And it's like, 'Why not? I'm gonna make the announcement anyway, why not make money from it?"

She further reasoned:

"This is how I make my money. I'm not doing PR anymore, I'm not sitting behind a desk."

Hubbard further said that she reached out to Clearblue at the time if they wanted to sponsor her baby announcement.

Lindsay Hubbard says her Clearblue promotion earned her three times more than her salary in PR

Lindsay Hubbard was running her own PR firm, Hubbard House Public Relations, until she closed down the company around the summer of 2023. That said, her social media revenue more than made up for what she earned as a PR expert.

She revealed to the listeners during the same Monday, December 23, episode of Trading Secrets podcast that she already made over $100k from her Clearblue promotion alone. It's over three times her starting salary in PR, which was around $28,000.

While the podcast episode was recent, it was notably filmed before Lindsay Hubbard gave birth to her baby girl earlier in December. The new mom has since announced that her little one has arrived.

She shared the first picture of her daughter on December 8, without showing her face, and announced her baby's name in the caption, writing:

"She's here!! Gemma Briff Kufe."

Since giving birth, Lindsay Hubbard has been reflecting on her labor and delivery. She shared a picture of herself on the hospital bed eating a sandwich on December 12, and it was in partnership with Jimmy John's. She captioned the picture:

"You have nooo idea how long I've been waiting to eat a good sandwich. So of course my first meal once Gemma was born was a classic @jimmyjohns Vito sandwich. Go get you a sandwich that you look at the way Baby Cub looks at my b**bs!"

The following week, on December 17, Hubbard shared shots from her labor and delivery to her fans. There were pictures of her before getting ready for her baby's birth, already on the hospital bed, and giving the camera two thumbs up, another one of her crying throughout the process.

She also shared her baby's first look right after the delivery, with the baby's face covered with a white heart emoji.

Hubbard also shared herself breastfeeding and with the medical staff before she recalled her "beautiful" delivery journey. She wrote in the caption:

"What a beautiful journey to finally meet our baby girl. When it was 'go time,' it felt like such an intimate, spiritual ceremony with just us—filled with so much hope and excitement for this new chapter."

Lindsay Hubbard also gave "special thanks" to her and her baby's doctor and the team of nurses who helped them during the delivery and throughout their hospital stay.
