On October 23, 2023, Sent Into Space took to Instagram to share how SEVENTEEN had collaborated with them to launch a disco ball microphone into space for their latest music video, God of Music.

SEVENTEEN had recently released their eleventh extended play, Seventeenth Heaven, consisting of eight tracks, with God of Music as the lead track, all on the same day.

In the post shared by Sent Into Space, the aerospace company explained how they had collaborated with the group to actually send the specific microphone to complete the filming of their music video, God of Music.

Soon, the posts went viral on social media, with fans referring to the act as an incredible feat, highlighting how the group had gone to great lengths to ensure the success of the God of Music music video.

"This looks so cool": CARATs are proud of SEVENTEEN's God of Music

As the group released the God of Music music video, the song has since set numerous records, including becoming the fastest idol group song to secure the No.1 position on the MelOn Top 100 music charts. Now, the information about the disco ball microphone used in the actual music video is causing excitement among the fandom.

In the music video, SEVENTEEN members can be seen dancing nonchalantly, promoting the idea that music connects people regardless of language and helps form friendships from the first instance. The group regards music as a friend and a source of vitality in the monotony of life.

The upbeat music of God of Music allows fans to immerse themselves in a world where everyone appears happy, dancing in synchronized steps. Towards the end of the music video, a member delivers a powerful kick to the ground, and the scene transitions to a bus soaring into space, with the disco microphone suspended in the cosmos, symbolizing how music transcends barriers and facilitates understanding without words.

In the Instagram post shared by Sent Into Space, the aerospace center expressed their gratitude for the collaboration and posted three to four pictures from behind the scenes, showing how they worked to send the microphone into space, concluding with:

"Check out what SEVENTEEN did with our footage for their latest music video! (Swipe for BTS shots)
We worked with K-pop supergroup @saythename_17 's production company, @sl8_official to launch a disco ball microphone into space for their new music video '음악의 신' (God of Music)"

As expected. the announcement sent CARATs into a frenzy online.

Meanwhile, fellow SEVENTEEN member Wonwoo mentioned on the South Korean social media platform, Weverse, how they had actually sent the microphone into space and commented:

"The mic in the music video was actually sent to space."

While many CARATs initially took the idol's comment as a joke, now that they realize it's real, they can't get enough of it and continue to praise the group members for their unique ideas and the lengths they go to in order to film a music video.

Following the release of the Seventeenth Heaven album centered around the theme of unparalleled happiness, God of Music quickly secured the top spot on the MelOn TOP 100 charts, making them the first group to achieve this in 2023.

Needless to say, fans are encouraging each other to keep streaming God of Music to ensure that the group dominates various music charts.
