American professional boxer Devin Haney reportedly bought his wife, Leena Sayed, a new Maybach SUV amid the recent controversy involving Young Thug. On December 23, 2024, a leaked video call between Sayed and Thug when the latter was in prison in 2022 went viral on social media, with many claiming the call had romantic connotations.

Both Sayed and Thug denied the claim, with the former saying the call was from before she met her husband, Haney. Devin Haney and Leena Sayed reportedly married in a private ceremony in 2023, and the two are expecting a child.

On December 29, a video of Leena Sayed's new Maybach SUV, reportedly a gift from Devin Haney, circulated on social media, amassing 90K views at the time of this article.

The video was met with mixed reviews, with many trolling the professional boxer about his wife's former association with Young Thug. One person tweeted:

"Thug went half on it with him lol."

Several netizens echoed that sentiment, jokingly adding to the commentary.

"She will let Thug clap that (cat emoji) with a Temu gucci bag gift," one person tweeted.
"Buying her that makes u look more dumb lmfaooo," someone else added.
"She is supposed to be getting YOU something fam! Simp of the year congratulations," another user posted.

Others compared him to football player Travis Hunter, whose fiancée Leanna Lenee was recently accused of allegedly cheating on him. A few netizens jokingly wondered if Devin Haney's match with Ryan Garcia gave him possible brain damage.

"He's worse than Travis Hunter," one person commented.
"Dagggg, Ryan must’ve really did some serious brain damage…," someone else added.
"Ryan Garcia really give him lasting brain damage," another user wrote.

Exploring the drama surrounding Devin Haney, Leena Sayed, and Young Thug

The controversy started on December 23, 2024, when a video call between Leena Sayed and Young Thug (who was incarcerated at the time) was leaked on social media. In the video, Sayed seemingly looked emotional, saying:

"I don’t like anyone. No one’s like you. I don’t like them, I want you."

Soon after the video leaked, Young Thug took to X to clarify the context. He dubbed Sayed his "twin," adding the conversation was about "loving on other people." He also apologized to his girlfriend Mariah the Scientist, whom he had been dating since 2021.

Meanwhile, Leena Sayed took to Instagram Story to address the drama. She said the phone call happened before she met Devin Haney, her husband, adding she was still "100 percent down" for Haney.

"That video was before I met my bd...I would never talk to thug or any other man," she wrote.

Haney's father, Bill, also lent his thoughts about the issue. Speaking to The Neighborhood Talk, Bill claimed Thug's tweets were hurtful. He also accused the rapper of manipulating the situation to his advantage.

Devin Haney has yet to comment on the issue. Instead, the boxer uploaded a picture of him surrounded by luxury bags and eating an apple on Instagram days after the news went viral.
