On July 30, 2024, Amber Rose reacted to Megan Thee Stallion's performance at Kamala Harris' rally in Atlanta, where Megan performed hit songs and twerked. Rose, who recently supported Trump at the Republican National Convention, criticized Harris for what she saw as pandering to black people.

In a recent live conversation with Adin Ross, she stated:

"I think she (Harris) is pandering to black people, I think she thinks that that’s what Black people want to see in order to vote for her. And I think it's absolute bullsh*t."

Amber Rose continued:

"I think that people in general just want to know policies. All that extra stuff it's cool... the concert and stuff like that... but what about the policies. How are you gonna make America great again?"

As Rose's comments went viral, internet users were quick to react. One user sarcastically wrote:

"really she’s calling out the performance wasn’t she at the rnc. Is she going to call that weird performance out. Such a hypocrite."

Some supported Rose, stating that she was stating facts, adding that people opposing her hate facts. Here are some comments seen on X:

"Even though we may not like the messenger but she is actually right. What are Kamala Harris's Policies?" one user wrote.
"Yall hate facts!!! Amber ain’t one to talk but facts is facts... She right, Kamala pandering to black ppl and she not even black herself! So basically yall vote for me cause Megan is poppin right now! This how dumb they think blk ppl are!" another commented.
"God can use anyone as a vessel. I think Policies were not spoke on. Quavo could have spoken about gun violence and so could have Meg alone with women’s health. I didn’t catch any of that," Katina Toney added.

Others pointed out that Harris was reaching out and targeting the younger generation to win the election. Some Rose was wrong and Harris did elaborate on her policies.

"Actually she is wrong! Kamala gave a whole speech on her policies. If all you got out of it was meg thr stallion you need to rewatch," a user added.
"My thoughts are I don’t GAF about what a influencer has to say, especially someone that allowed herself to be used by Trump. And Megan did not twerk. Being a former stripper she should know the difference," @LillieNPeters wrote.
"Not the self proclaimed SL*T herself, shaming somebody for twerking??? Gurlllll, if you don't sit down and eat ya f*cking food. Kamala is appealing to the young voters. I'mma need yall to free yourselves from respectability politics," another X person wrote.

Amber Rose shared her ex-husband, Wiz Khalifa, encouraged her to endorse Trump

During her appearance on Candace Owens’ eponymous podcast on July 27, Amber Rose shared that her ex-husband Wiz Khalifa encouraged her to endorse Donald Trump as president. In May, the model shared a photo of herself with Trump and his wife, Melania. The move came as a shock, as Rose had previously spoken against the former president, even calling him a "f*cking idiot", in a 2016 interview with The Cut.

Amber Rose told Owens she felt she was "living a lie" by not revealing her political stance to the public.

"I went to him and I was just like, ‘I feel like I’m living a lie.’ And it’s so much more than Trump, but just me as a person. I was just like, ‘I’m so unhappy. I’m starting to hate everyone,’ and I was never like that. I was always full of love. I just wanna be me and I don’t know how to be me."

During her speech at the RNC, Rose remarked, "The media has lied to us about Donald Trump." She explained that as a mother, she wants to keep her children safe and give them the best opportunities, adding that the best chance for that is by voting for Trump.

Amber Rose is not the only one standing up for the candidate she believes in. Following her four-song set, Megan Thee Stallion told the crowd:

"Now I know my ladies in the crowd love their bodies, and if you want to keep loving your body, you know who to vote for!"

She even promoted Kamala Harris with the phrase, "Hotties for Harris." However, her performance was met with backlash. During her Thursday concert at Lollapalooza in Chicago, the rapper paused her set to address her critics. She remarked they were "fake mad."

Megan Thee Stallion has not publicly reacted to Amber Rose's comments.
