A recent revelation from Raven-Symoné has sparked widespread discussions online, as the beloved actress and former Disney Channel star reflected on her experience during the peak of That's So Raven's success.

On December 5, 2024, Raven, an American actress, singer, and director, shared on her podcast, Tea Time with Raven & Miranda, that during the show's run, some young male viewers lusted over her appearance.

As a result, many users on X shared reactions suggesting that her comments surprised them. Several insisted that her character, Raven Baxter, was celebrated for her humor, wit, and relatability rather than her physical appearance. One netizen on X commented:

"We never looked at her body 😭 we just loved her jokes."

Moreover, many users on X expressed that, during that time, they were all just kids and questioned what Raven-Symoné was referring to. Others noted that at such a young age, thoughts about physical appearance were not common.

"Man I was like 7, I was not thinking about all that," another wrote.
"i was on disney channel watching anything that came on i was NOT worried about that 😭," a third commented.
"i was 6," one more on X.

However, some users raised concerns, wondering what Raven might have been experiencing at the time to make her feel this way. Others acknowledged that her perspective was valid for some.

"I wonder what was going on around her at that age that would make her think that way?" a netizen commented.
"I'm the same age as her. She's completely correct for some of us 🤦😅😂," one more on X.
"Wait….she turned into Orlando Brown 🤯," another commented.

As of now, Raven-Symoné has not responded to the online reactions, nor has she elaborated on what circumstances led her to feel this way.

On Thursday, December 5, 2024, Raven-Symoné, during her podcast, co-hosted with her wife, Miranda Pearman-Maday, opened up about her experience while starring in Disney Channel's That's So Raven.

Raven revealed that she believed her larger breasts were the prime reason young male viewers watched her show.

"I felt like boys watched the show because I had big b*obs. I feel like that was the case. They came for the b*obs and stayed for the comedy," she said.

Raven-Symoné also disclosed that at the young age of 15, she underwent breast reduction surgery. She recounted being told that the procedure was necessary to secure the show. The actress admitted to reducing her breast size from a triple D to a B cup.

"I had my first breast reduction at 15. I went from a triple D all the way down to a B, someone said I needed to do it in order to get a show," she said.

Reflecting on the surgery, Raven described being left with an "anchor scar," explaining:

"When you have a breast reduction, underneath the areola, they make a little incision, and they come down straight underneath the b*ob and, like, filet you from the bottom, and it looks like an anchor."

This was not the first time Raven-Symoné had spoken about her breast reduction surgery. During an August 2023 episode of The Best Podcast Ever with Raven and Miranda, she shared that she experienced seizures after her first procedure.

"That first [procedure] I had, I actually had a seizure when I woke up from the surgery. And I remember waking up and seeing everything," Raven said.

Raven-Symoné starred as Raven Baxter in That's So Raven from 2003 to 2007. The series, which ran for four seasons, remains one of Disney Channel's most iconic and groundbreaking shows, according to IMDb.
