A TikTok video shared by Tim Walz's daughter - Hope Walz - was shared on X by @libsoftiktok on Sunday and has since gone viral, receiving over 2 million views.
In the video, Hope Walz talked about a litmus test that she and her friends used for the guys they talked to, saying:
"A litmus test for me and my friends for like years now has been if the guy we're talking to follows Joe Rogan on Instagram, they're a red flag and we should probably stop talking to them."
Netizens have reacted to the video in large crowds, with many of them claiming they didn't want the dating advice of Tim Walz's daughter.
Joe Rogan, who is a world-renowned podcaster and MMA color commentator, officially endorsed Donald Trump on the eve of the 2024 presidential election. Rogan's endorsement was later declared as a major win in the final hours of the Republican Party's campaign.
Some netizens criticized the video by stating that being the offspring of Tim Walz was a red flag.
"Like anyone should take dating advice from Tim twinkle toes daughter!" - commented an X user.
"Being the offspring of Tim Walz is a red flag IMO" - posted another one.
"Guys, it's a red flag if a girl thinks it's a red flag for you to follow and listen to Joe Rogan." - wrote a third user.
Meanwhile, others took a hit at the 23-year-old by saying that Walz would probably not be having "any grandkids anytime soon."
"Anyone else just feel generally sorry for Tim Walz? Dude just wants to work on his car in the garage and be left alone."- replied a fourth user.
"Looks like Tim Walz wont be having any grandkids anytime soon." - commented a fifth one.
"The entire family belongs in a mental asylum" - added a sixth user.

Tim Walz's daughter has over 200,000 followers on TikTok
Hope Walz, who has over 200,000 followers on TikTok, further shared with them that talking to boys who followed Joe Rogan didn't end well for them. Walz added in the 90-second-video:
"I just want to say that I stand by that. It's literally never failed us and at this point it's like the first thing we do when someone starts talking to a new person. If they follow him we're like, yeah this person probably isn't a great person and probably our values don't align so we're gonna move on from that. And honestly it's worked out well for all of us."
The 23-year-old went on to say that they had faced "some heartbreak" by sticking to the rule, but it worked for the most part. She also called Rogan "unprofessional" and "questionable," adding:
"I don't know how you have the largest podcast in the world and are able to just lie and put out misinformation and straight up lies on your platform."
Hope Walz's video about Joe Rogan comes over a month after she shared her "initial post-election thoughts." On Thursday, November 7, Walz appeared to be eating SpongeBob mac and cheese and watching Outer Banks on Netflix. Per Hindustan Times, Hope explained to her followers in the TikTok:
"I’ve officially reached the point of anger, and I’m not an angry person, so I’m just trying to channel it."
Walz further added:
"This country does not deserve Kamala Harris. That woman should go live her best life wherever she wants, doing whatever she wants because we don’t deserve her at this point."
In an interview with The New York Times on December 6, Tim Walz admitted that he was surprised about Donald Trump winning the Presidential elections.
