A former Fox Sports hairstylist sued the company for allegedly firing her after she complained against its executive, Skip Bayless. On Friday, January 3, 2024, Noushin Faraji filed a s*xual and workplace harassment lawsuit in Los Angeles, claiming that the longtime commentator made several advances towards her over the years d espite repeatedly declining them.
Citing the filing, Front Office Sports (that first published the news) reported that Bayless allegedly offered to pay her $1.5 million for s*x and inappropriately touching her.
Per the lawsuit, the hairdresser who was assigned to cut Skip Bayless' hair when co-hosting Undisputed claimed he gave-
"Lingering hugs after each haircut, putting his body against her own, pressing against her br*asts," adding that later he "began to kiss her on her cheeks."
Skip Bayless allegedly told the plaintiff he would "change" her life if she agreed to sleep with him
According to the lawsuit, Noushin Faraji worked at Fox Sports part-time from 2012 until 2016 and full-time from 2016 until August 2024. The complaint claimed that she felt "uncomfortable by the physical contact" (initiated by Skip Bayless) and would "make excuses" to leave right after giving a haircut.
Faraji alleged that Bayless told her he would "change" her life if she agreed to sleep with him. She said she repeatedly denied his advances by telling him she "did not date at work."
According to a report by the New York Post, the suit detailed a separate incident from 2021 when Faraji, a single mother, faced a cancer scare after she "developed issues with her left ovary." At the time, she had a fourth biopsy planned and hoped the commentator would "take pity" on her and stop. The lawsuit stated:
"Instead, Mr. Bayless told her that he wanted to be with her. Ms. Faraji panicked and began rambling that there were cameras everywhere, that she has a child, and that she does not want him. Mr. Bayless then grabbed her hands, began kissing them, and offered her $1.5 million to have s*x."
Citing the 42-page suit, the publication reported on a separate incident, a week later when Skip Bayless again reportedly approached her, which prompted her reply:
"Skip, stop, you have a wife."
The commentator allegedly replied:
"Aren't you Muslim? Doesn't your dad have three to four wives?"
Further, Bayless repeatedly accused the plaintiff of sleeping with his Undisputed co-host and former NFL star, Shannon Sharpe, in 2022. After finding out it was untrue, he apologized to Faraji.
In her complaint, Noushin Faraji also accused a network executive of using "his position to s*xually harass women." In addition to Fox Sports, Charlie Dixon, the executive vice president of content, and Joy Taylor, who was the moderator on Undisputed, were also named as the defendants.
In a statement made to the New York Post, the company explained they were taking the allegations seriously but declined to comment further. Skip Bayless, for his part, has not publicly reacted to the development.
