On Saturday, Donald Trump was injured in an apparent assassination attempt during a Pennsylvania campaign event, and several individuals reacted to the news. Actress Amanda Seales, known for her role in Insecure, took to X to share her thoughts on the incident.

She believed that the shooting was "staged" and spoke about what gunshots sound like.

"The sh*t was more staged than a Tyler Perry production of Madea Runs for President. I lived in Harlem long enough to know that gunshots do not sound like making popcorn on the stove. Pop, pop, pop. Where'd the blood come from?" she said.

As soon as the video went viral, DJ Akademiks called out the actress for claiming the shooting was "staged." He accused her of dismissing reality and reminded her that an investigation into the shooting is currently underway.

At approximately 6:02 pm local time on Saturday, July 13, Donald Trump stepped onto the stage and began waving at the crowd. Moments later, shots were heard and the former US President clutched his ear as Secret Service agents rushed towards him. While he was seen bleeding on the right side of his face, he raised his right arm into the air.

The incident made headlines and Amanda Seales took to social media to share her thoughts on the same. She first claimed that the incident involving Donald Trump was "staged" and then went on to wonder how Trump was bleeding. She explained how "blood pellets" are used in movies and during Halloween and added:

"So in theater, in movies, they have what's called blood pellets. People used them at Halloween. It's basically a pellet of fake blood that's in your mouth and when you crush it blood comes out."

She added:

"To be frank, small hands Trump would not respond by raising his fist in the air triumphantly were an actual attempt made on his life."

She believed the incident was meant to "try to show his strength counter to Biden's fragility."

Once Seales' video about the shooting went viral, DJ Akademiks went online and reacted to the same. He criticized the actress for her opinion and added that different guns sound different and distance matters.

“Like some of y'all are so glued into whatever political view y'all have, y'all dismiss reality. B*tch, wake up. There's a f*cking whole investigation by the FBI outside in Butler. Drive over there and go see if they're investigating staged sh*t,” he said.

He went on to react to her saying she lived in Harlem and added:

“You lived in Harlem? B*tch, I got all the guns that they shooting. You just sound like a b*tch who's running her f*cking mouth for no f*cking reason. This is half of America. 'Oh it's staged!' you think people want to convince you? The f*ck is this b*tch even talking about?”
