UFC President Dana White gave a shoutout to Adin Ross during Donald Trump's victory speech, which shocked online streamer HasanAbi. White's mention of Ross at such a platform sparked reactions not just amongst netizens, but HasanAbi as well. White first said:
"I wanna thank some people real quick. I wanna thank the Nelk Boys, Adin Ross, Theo Von... And last but not least the mighty and powerful Joe Rogan. Thank you America and have a good night!"
As soon as White mentioned Ross, HasanAbi who was on a live stream session, went on to react to it. The Turkish-American streamer and left-wing political commentator exclaimed:
"What is this country! We're done! It's over!"
Meanwhile, Trump thanked Americans in his speech for voting for him. HasanAbi, aka Hasan Piker was recently in headlines, after Kick streamer Destiny accused his community of instigating "racially motivated attacks."
Somewhere in the same live stream where he reacted upon Ross' mention, Hasan stated that he would "bare all" if Kamala Harris won in Florida and Texas, even though he thought it was highly unlikely to happen. As per reports by The Associated Press, Kamala lost in both the states.
According to CNN, winning in the states of Pennsylvania, Georgia and North Carolina gave Trump a massive push in the race.
Adin Ross had bet $1 million on Donald Trump in the Presidential race
Amid the chaos and excitement surrounding the much awaited US Presidential race, streamer Adin Ross made a tweet on X, formerly known as Twitter. Ross claimed that he would bet a million dollars on Trump winning the elections this time. In the tweet, dated November 5, 2024, Ross wrote:
"Trump 2024. I put a million on the boss. I know he’s gonna secure it for America. The only presidential candidate that’s fit right for this country. 🇺🇸"
He further added:
"I’ll be giving away $10,000 to 10 people who like this tweet and reply with a form of payment. ❤️"
Stake, which is a betting site, indicated that there would be a payout of $1.66 million in case Trump actually wins the race. In a follow-up tweet, Adin Ross wrote:
"I’ll be giving away $ to u loyals who like the tweet and comment ur eth addy. Got yall ❤️ I’ll show proof too, after he wins everyone will be paid out. Let’s go. Trump 2024."
This wasn't the first time Adin endorsed Donald Trump. In August, he made headlines after hosting the Republican candidate on a livestream.
According to reports by The Express Tribune, the livestream with Trump garnered more than 580,000 viewers. Trump then reportedly mentioned that his sons suggested the collaboration with Ross claiming that he was a big internet personality.
Previously, in a tweet dated November 6, he explained his reasons for voting Donald Trump. Apart from citing personal reasons like "crypto", Ross also claimed that his decision was for America's sake. Somewhere in the tweet, Ross explained how he believed that there'd be "no news wars" when Trump was in the office.
The streamer also claimed that Trump was more likely to find a solution to the Ukraine-Russia situation. Adin Ross was one of the many celebrities who had spoken in favor of the Republican candidate.
