TikTok couple Kay and Tay’s Taylor Dudley is being scrutinized by the internet as an alleged domestic violence charge against him has surfaced online. For the uninitiated, the family channel is best known for documenting their life with their daughter, Elliott Mae Dudley, on social media. Although Kaylee Dudley had addressed the incident in the past, it continues to be discussed online.

The alleged domestic violence case against Taylor Dudley garnered traction online after netizens began discussing it on various social media platforms, including YouTube, Reddit, and TikTok. This comes after legal documents and a mugshot of the YouTuber surfaced online.

The documents featured the 30-year-old’s mugshot and the charges against him. It was revealed that he was arrested in January 2019 and that he faced “domestic violence, third-degree harassment” charges.

TikToker Te-Erika also discussed the incident online. She claimed that Taylor Dudley from Kay and Tay was arrested after he “threw her (Kaylee Dudley) down on the bed and then to the floor, then put her on the bed and pinned her down while she feared for her safety.”

Other court documents revealed that Taylor Dudley was let out on a $300 bond, which Kaylee herself paid. Another screenshot of a legal document mentioned that the case against the content creator was dismissed.

“I’m proud of him” - Kay and Tay’s Kaylee took to the internet to address the alleged domestic violence incident earlier this year

After an internet user created a YouTube video regarding Kay and Tay's situation, Kaylee addressed the incident in the video's comments section. A user shared screenshots of Kaylee's comments under the YouTube video, which were later deleted. She revealed that Taylor "took the fall" for her.

She explained that while she was under “new autoimmune medication,” she consumed alcohol and was having a bad episode, subsequently leading to her wanting to leave their residence. She claimed that she told Taylor she wanted to leave the house, but the latter did not want her to drive. Kaylee explained:

“I said I was going to call the police because I didn’t understand why he wouldn’t let me leave because of my confusion from he medicine. And so he agreed that I should call because he thought the police would help.”

Kaylee Dudley then explained that the police “misconstrued” the matter, leading to Taylor spending the night behind bars. Law enforcement told them, one would have to spend the night in jail, and Kaylee added:

“I’m proud of him to this day for that. He stayed after I called the police to make sure I was ok.”

Kay and Tay’s Kaylee also said:

“I don’t really care how it is spun, because Taylor is an amazing father and husband. I know abuse. I was abused in previous relationships and people are mad about Taylor smiling [in the mugshot], but the cops and him were literally joking around at the time of the photo.”
