Social media users are going gaga over the Gen Z boss and a Mini trend, which has been started by a skincare brand, TBH Skincare. The viral video posted on Instagram by the brand on July 10, 2024, shows a group of women standing in a circle, and describing their characteristics. The viral video shows the Gen Z women in their office singing one line each, saying:

“Gen Z boss and a mini. Itty bitty t*tties and a bob. 5 foot 3 inches and an attitude. Secret pouch and a trench. New frank green and a sneaky link. Fake tan hands and a hoop.”

As per Forbes, the chant by the Gen Z women has been inspired by the “boots and a slicked back bun” meme which originated on TikTok, first posted by the user @maisieisobel_. The trend was first posted on social media on June 29, 2024, which showed three women dancing and singing as they described their outfits.
On the other hand, the video by TBH Skincare has gone viral as it has amassed a lot of views. In just 5 days, the video posted by the brand has more than 5.3 million views. While some netizens are going crazy over the new Gen Z boss trend, others are finding the meme cringe.

Social media users started reacting to it as the video of the group of women reciting their characteristics in a meme-like video went viral and started creating a buzz on multiple platforms. While the skincare brand that posted the video has blocked its comments, many other netizens started posting the video on their handles.

An X, formerly Twitter user, @Alkibiades_ posted the video on their page, and comments started pouring in. With multiple people bashing the women in the video, and finding the trend cringe, a social media user commented by saying:
