Ari Fletcher was recently joined on the ImpactATL Instagram live, where she was asked if she would rekindle her friendship with Tuson Jewell, to which he responded with a straight no. Ari Fletcher said:
“Absolutely not. I wouldn’t go to his funeral. Absolutely no room for that. We’ll never ever in life be cool again. No matter the circumstances. Nothing in this world will make me feel like I should reach out. I still appreciate the friendship for what it was, when it was, but it is what it is. It was great, it was beautiful.”
She also explained how her and Tuson’s friendship was genuine, and Jewell changed over time. Ari Fletcher said:
“I feel like in a moment I felt like he was such a real friend. It’s so hard now too, to be even like he never cared about me, he only wanted a game. At that time it just felt like it was genuine, but then it makes me think about certain times that makes me think if it was like a motive or what.”
The whole fiasco between the duo started in July, this year, when Ari Fletcher and Tuson Jewell shared a number of tweets against each other after Fletcher accused Tuson of attempting to commit fraud with her money, which she had initially given for his car downpayment.
However, Tuson denied receiving any money from Fletcher and alleged that the “car got cancelled because they never got payment.”
Tuson denies being on drugs and creating any diss track targeting Ari Fletcher
As Ari Fletcher spoke her heart out about her fallen friendship with Tuson Jewell during the ImpactATL Instagram live, Tuson joined in later, and answered various questions asked by fans about an alleged diss track, and the rumours about the TV personality being on drugs.
He denied that he is not working on any diss track, and also refuted the claims about being on drugs. Tuson said:
“I’ve never done a hard drug in my life ever. I have never done hard pills, never. I’ve done coke, crack, needles, nothing.”
Furthermore, he also went ahead and explained why the whole issue with Ari Fletcher was brought into the public eye on social media, and not kept private. Tuson said that he has no regrets about what happened between the two, and at the time, he “didn’t care.”
It is worth noting that Tuson even started a GoFundMe campaign in August 2024, with the title “Help Tuson Recover from a heartbreaking betrayal.” The campaign description read:
“I never thought I'd be in this position, but I'm reaching out for help after a heartbreaking betrayal. My “best friend” promised me $20,000 for a down payment on a car as a birthday gift. Trusting her completely, I went ahead with the start of the car purchase, only to have her not give me anything.”
Furthermore, ever since the feud and fallout between Ari and Tuson took place, both have been accusing each other of chasing “clout.” With Ari claiming that she gave $20,000 to Tuson, the TV personality had even shared a video of Fletcher handing over the cheque, with a “no” symbol on it.
