Asthma is a condition where the airways narrow, swell, and produce extra mucus, causing breathing problems, coughing, and wheezing. While it can't be cured, its symptoms can be managed.

Addison's disease occurs when the body doesn't produce enough hormones, including cortisol and aldosterone. It can be treated with hormone replacement, but it is life-threatening if untreated.
