Exploring Tzuyang's recent abuse allegations against former boyfriend
In the live stream, the YouTuber claimed that she began streaming on social media after initially getting coerced to earn money by her ex-boyfriend. Tzuyang claimed that her boyfriend would physically harass her and also threatened to leak an intimate video involving her, that he allegedly filmed illegally.
Along with several accusations against the former boyfriend, she also claimed that he had extorted over 4 billion won, which equates to about $2.9 million from her. While Tzuyang didn't specify when the abuse exactly began, she claimed that her ex forced her to "entertain" several guests with alcohol, before she became a streamer.
She added that while she earned money after being a streamer, he would take all of it and she didn't even have enough to buy basic food.
The YouTuber revealed that the former couple met for the first time when she was taking a break from university. Claiming that he would hit her with several regular household items, she said,
"He showed violent behavior, and I tried to break up with him. But he threatened to release [illegally filmed] videos he had taken [of me], so I couldn’t leave him."
Recently, the YouTuber allegedly escaped the former partner, by filing a lawsuit against him. Fans had further been curious to know the outcome of the lawsuit. Her lawyer later dropped a comment where she stated that,
"Just as we have mentioned, Tzuyang faced lots of damage, and hence, with my help, she requested financial payouts, the termination of her exclusive contract, copyrights, and more..."
The lawyer added that upon filing charges for the first time, the former partner promised to talk to anybody about it, which he didn't comply to. This made the YouTube file a second set of charges. In the comment, the lawyer also revealed that some of the charges were proven true. The lawyer further added:
"But unfortunately, he made extreme choices, and the case closed under ‘no power to prosecute’ and was canceled."
The lawyer revealed that the ex-boyfriend took his own life, which resulted in the shutting down of the case. Tzuyang confirmed in the livestream that she had finally become "independent" of her ex-boyfriend.
