TikTok star Mr Prada was allegedly a Person of Interest in the gruesome murder of Baton Rouge therapist, 69-year-old William Nicholas Abraham. The victim's body was found by the Louisiana highway.
20-year-old Mr Prada, whose real name is Terryon Ishmael Thomas, was taken into custody on Tuesday, October 1. Authorities had further filed some serious charges against the TikToker, including aggravated criminal damage to property, resisting an officer, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
The TikToker had reportedly been arrested from Dallas, Texas. Police had previously obtained surveillance footage, in which Prada's face could be seen. However, his identity wasn't officially confirmed until he got detained.
Law enforcement officials had also mentioned earlier that the Person of Interest was the last person seen driving the victim's vehicle. They tried to pull the vehicle over, but Prada reportedly sped off before crashing and then fleeing on foot. FOX8 Live reported that Prada will have an extradition hearing in Texas.
During the hearing, the judge will decide whether he should be shifted to Louisiana and face the charges there. Detectives had previously revealed that the victim's body was found in the area which was nearby to where he worked.
Abraham, who was also a former Catholic priest, died of blunt force trauma to the head, neck, and shoulders.

According to online jail records, law enforcement officials arrested Prada on Tuesday and he remained in jail on Wednesday as well, without a bond. USA Today reported that as per the arrest warrant, he belonged to Newellton, a northern Tensas Parish in the northeastern part of the state.
A possible motive behind the alleged murder hadn't been determined as of now. Authorities are also yet to confirm if Mr Prada had known the victim. It had been reported that the arrested man was on the run before cops detained him recently.
In order to find Prada, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office had also released his photos, and urged the public to reach out to them in case they saw him.
According to USA Today, as of Wednesday, the TikToker had more than 3.9 million followers on his TikTok page. His last post was reportedly uploaded three days ago.
Sheriff Gerald Sticker mentioned that the victim's death was quite physical and violent in nature. FOX 8 Live reported a statement given my Jarrett Ambeau, the victim's attorney, who said:
"I’m absolutely devastated and completely surprised that something like that could have happened to a man who I believed to be so tender, so gentle, and have such a servant’s heart."
Police had urged people to contact them if they have any further information about Mr Prada. It has been found the victim was a known face in the Baton Rouge area and had appeared on cable television as a mental health therapist as well.
Investigation in the case is currently ongoing, and authorities are trying to find more leads to Mr Prada.
