Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z have recently purchased a luxurious house in California and it has broken several price records made previously in history. The pair currently reside in a huge estate in Bel-Air, Los Angeles, California. It is constructed on 30,000 sq. ft. of land and the duo bought it for $200 million. The previous record of a property being sold for such a high price was $177 million.
It is also the second most expensive deal made in the US, with the title still held by a New York City apartment at $238 million.

The new property purchased by Beyoncé and Jay-Z was designed by architect Tadao Ando, and art collector William Bell was the previous owner. When the pair found the house, it was listed for $295 million.
It is an L-shaped estate and has huge concrete hallways alongside glass panels from the floor to the ceiling. There is a pool along with a lot of space and the original owner Bell purchased it for $14.5 million in 2003. The concrete structure of the house was built in 15 years.
Bell was an art collector and his work can also be found inside the house. The estate was never listed for sale but was shown to a selected group of buyers. The entire deal was handled by Kurt Rappaport from Westside Estate Agency.
