Courtney Clenney, a social media model, has been accused of fatally stabbing her boyfriend on April 3, 2022. 28-year-old Christian Obumseli died after allegedly being stabbed by Clenney at their apartment in Miami. Recently, a video has been released that captured the model being violent toward Christian, just two months before the fatal stabbing.

According to investigating officers, the couple had quite a violent relationship. When asked about the fatal stabbing of Christian, Courtney Clenney claimed that she acted in self-defense. Authorities are yet to determine what started the argument that led to the fatal stabbing of Clenney's boyfriend.

The primary incident can be traced back to April 2022, when a fatal stabbing occurred at a high-rise apartment in Miami. The victim was the boyfriend of Courtney Clenney, who is also a well-known online model. Police identified the suspect as Clenney and took her into custody.

NBC Miami reported that they also believed Clenney and Christian had a violent relationship. The model has maintained her stance, stating that she stabbed Christian after he abused her.

However, as mentioned above, new footage has been released, in which the model is hitting and yelling at the victim. The footage published by TMZ captured the incident that reportedly occurred when the couple went to Aspen, Colo, for a content trip. Christian and Courtney Clenney got into a fight that turned violent and was captured by another individual who was present there.

In the footage, the victim is seen grabbing her arms, when she tries to hit him multiple times. She is also heard yelling at Christian, accusing him of flirting with other women while on the trip. The victim was seen denying all the allegations. She was heard saying:

"And now why am I not sober? Because of you."

Police believed that the couple shared a violent relationship

The footage reportedly showed how violent the model was being toward her boyfriend. Shortly after the fight, she was heard asking him to leave the place, to which Christian responded saying that she'd never see him again.

He was also heard calling her "the most selfish motherf***er I’ve ever met in my life." At one time during the fight, Courtney Clenney turned to the individual who was recording them and said:

"Actually I'm done, can you send him home?"

She then looked back at her boyfriend and said:

"You're costing me money, I didn't do s*** since I got to this f***ing house because of you."

After the fatal stabbing, just two months after this verbal spat, Courtney was taken into custody in August 2022 and was charged with second-degree murder. She is currently held without a bond.

Prosecutors previously presented the footage in court, where the couple was seen getting violent in the apartment elevator a month after moving in, as reported by New York Daily News. In 2021, she was charged with domestic battery in Las Vegas, for allegedly throwing a glass at her boyfriend during a fight.
