Jennifer Garner spoke to MSNBC on January 10, 2025, where she discussed the impact of the recent fires in Los Angeles. The actress also revealed how she lost a friend from her church in the destruction. Getting emotional, Jennifer Garner stated that her friend could not get out on time, which caused the tragic incident.
"I did lose a friend, and for our church, it's really tender so I don't feel like we should talk about it yet. I did lose a friend. She didn't get out in time. My heart bleeds for my friends. I mean, I can think of 100 families, and there are 5,000 homes lost. I can, without even thinking, I could just write out a list of 100 friends who lost their homes," Jennifer Garner said.
She further stated:
"I feel almost guilty walking through my house. You know, what can I do? How can I help? What can I offer? What do I have to offer with these hands and these walls and the safety that I have?"
While Jennifer Garner did not talk much about her church during the one-to-one with MSNBC, the actress revealed to Pure Flix Insider in August 2022, that she goes to a local United Methodist church.
