Federal authorities have indicted prominent real estate brokers, the Alexander Brothers, with a s*x trafficking case. Citing a spokesperson for the FBI's New York field office, CNN reported that on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, Tal and Oren Alexander, along with their brother Alon, were arrested for allegedly baiting, drugging, and s*xually assaulting multiple women since 2010.

Florida state authorities arrested twin brothers Alon and Oren Alexander on charges of s*xual battery (in a separate case along with their cousin Ohad Fisherman). After appearing in a state court, they would be transferred to federal custody (in New York). The case involves three victims in three separate incidents that occurred in December 2016, October 2017, and October 2021.

The oldest Alexander Brother, Tal, was also arrested but charged separately. He appeared before a federal judge in Florida on Wednesday. The Alexander Brothers are charged (federally) with one count each of engaging in a s*x trafficking conspiracy and a count of s*x trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion. Tal Alexander is facing an additional charge of s*x trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion.

The Alexander Brothers are the sons of an Israeli-born home developer, Shlomy

The Alexander Brothers were born to Shlomy and Orly, who emigrated to the United States from Israel. In 1982, the couple co-founded Kent Security, a security and building services company.

According to Orly's profile on the company's website, she initially taught Hebrew and even became a principal at a Hebrew school. However, following the growth of Kent Security, she turned her attention solely to the company. Per the profile, she is the mother of four.

Oren and Tal Alexander made a name in the real estate industry and are sometimes hailed as "real estate royalty," a phrase first used by Details magazine in 2013. They began their careers working as brokers at Douglas Elliman. In 2012, they founded the Alexander Team division of the company.

In 2022, they launched their company, Official, which brokers high-end real estate sales and rentals in New York, Miami, and Aspen.

According to Alon's LinkedIn page, he is the president of Kent Security. He earned a degree in criminal justice from the University of Maryland in 2008 and attended the New York Law School (graduating in 2012). His twin, Oren, graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder, with a degree in finance in 2008 (per LinkedIn).

Tal, on the other hand, earned a degree in marketing from Hofstra University in 2008. According to the Real Deal, Tal and Oren purchased a $10 million waterfront home in Miami Beach in 2021. They hoped to rebuild the property with their father.

Prosecutors have asked the court to deny bail to the Alexander Brothers, citing flight risk and danger to the community

CNN, citing the prosecutors, reported that the Alexander Brothers, along with other men, "repeatedly and violently drug(ged), s*xually assault(ed), and r*pe(d) dozens of victims" in New York, Miami, and other places.

Per the unsealed indictment, the charges date between 2011 and 2021, but prosecutors claim their schemes span more than two decades, dating back to when the men were in high school.

According to authorities, the brothers reportedly used their "wealth and position" to "facilitate opportunities to s*xually assault women." This included luring women with the promise of luxury experiences, accommodations, travel, and access to events. During these trips, arranged in advance, the women were "forcibly r*ped or s*xually assaulted, sometimes by multiple men."

The eight-page indictment further alleges that these men would pool their financial resources to pay for the women, who were selected based on their attractiveness. They would reportedly use social media or dating apps to invite the women to events, often by purchasing their flight tickets.

The indictment claimed that the Alexander Brothers would also work with the party organizers to find women to attend the events. They allegedly obtained drugs like cocaine, mushrooms, and GHB to spike these women's drinks. Per the indictment, this allegedly prevented the victims from "fighting back or escaping."

Some of the women were allegedly "physically restrained and held down" during the crime. In a press conference, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Damian Williams called their conduct "heinous."

"As of today, law enforcement has interviewed dozens of women who reported being forcibly raped or sexually assaulted by at least one of the Alexander brothers," Damian Williams said.

Williams added that the Alexander Brothers also carried out the alleged attacks by chance" at bars, clubs, and social events.

"These assaults allegedly had many of the same hallmarks as the r*pes that occurred at group events-isolated locations, drugged victims, force, and physical restraint."

A letter filed by the prosecutors is asking the court to deny the brothers bail, noting that the Alexander Brothers have been facing allegations of s*xual misconduct since June 2024. They called the brothers a flight risk and a danger to the community.

Per CNN, lawyers for Oren and Alon have denied the claims, while Tal's representative, Joel Denaro, declined to comment. Additionally, per the publication, reps for real estate giant Douglas Elliman have also declined to comment (It is to be noted that the company is not named in the indictment).

If convicted, the Alexander Brothers face from 15 years to life in prison.
