The Howard Stern Show’s Wack Pack member Angry Alice has reportedly passed away. As per Reddit user Solid_Pop_5982, news of her passing was confirmed by Howard himself on the latest September 4, 2024 episode of his show. The Reddit user shared on the r/howardstern subreddit that she was 72 years old at the time of her passing. Netizens have since taken to social media to pay tribute.

For those uninitiated, Angry Alice, whose real name was Alice Gotti, was a frequent on The Howard Stern Show. She was part of the Wack Pack team, who were a wide assortment of personalities who frequently appeared on the show to showcase their humor.

Several netizens took to the internet to remember her for her signature temper on the show. She used to often curse at Artie and Howard Stern while being kind to Fred Norris and Benjy on the show.

According to the Reddit user, Howard Stern paid tribute to Crazy Alice, who also went by the moniker of Crazy Alice. They said:

“Then Howard did an obituary for Angry Alice (or Crazy Alice) depending on the year of the show. RIP Angry Alice (Crazy Alice) she was 72 when she passed, the same age as Robin. On cue King of All Blacks called into comment on Angry Alice and was boring as usual.”

Netizens have since taken to the internet to pay tribute to the show’s favorite performer. Many reminisced about her best moments on the show. Some comments online read:

“Damn, it sucks she was no longer part of the show and was so great WHEN SHE WAS! Rest easy, lady,” a Reddit user commented.

Producer of The Pope’s Exorcist and former Detroit Pistons athlete @PodKatz also took to X to pay tribute to Crazy Alice. He said:

“So sorry to hear of the death of Crazy Alice, one of the great Stern Show callers. Always loved her instantly going from flipping out on Artie to getting sweet with Fred. She was great radio. We speak your name, Alice. “Hi, Fred” forever."
“That’s sad. She used to be one of my favourites. One day she and Artie made me laugh until I almost cried. Arrivederci, Alice,” a Reddit user said.
“God dammit. She's cursing people out in the great beyond now. I can hear faint echos of 'f**k you! F**k you! F**k you!' reverberating all around us. Thanks for the laughs, Alice,” another netizen said.

The cause of her reported death was not made public at the time of writing this article. Meanwhile, other reactions read:

“I loved Angry Alice. Especially the time she called Howard a beat up witch. Still makes me laugh to this day. RIP Alice,” a Reddit user said.

Angry Alice last appeared on The Howard Stern Show in November 2022

Alice first appeared on the show in the 1990s. After disappearing from the show for a long time, Angry Alice returned for an episode in November 2022 to give an update on her life. One member of the Wack Packers asked on the show if she was still angry, to which Howard stated, “I don’t know, you sound calmer,” while addressing Alice. He also added, “Maybe it’s the California sunshine.”

Speaking about how she was still temperamental, she said on the show:

“I’m still with the same bullsh*t. I really don’t like people.”

As the show progressed, she made it clear that her affection towards the show’s Fred Norris remained the same, to which the latter said, “I’m honored.”
