Hollywood screenwriter C Jay Cox was heavily discussed on X after streamer Vitaly took to Kick to expose the former for alleged inappropriate behavior. In what has been dubbed a sting operation, the former was caught engaging in explicit manners with a person alleged to be only 15 years old. The video of him getting caught has since gone viral online.

Trigger Warning: The following article discusses p*dophilia. Reader’s discretion is advised.

Aside from the livestream being available on Kick, X page Shadow of Ezra shared a clip of the same. In the video, C Jay Cox could be seen removing a boy’s (who is allegedly 15 years old) shorts. At another point in the livestream, the screenwriter appears half-naked and seems to be holding the boy in a chokehold.

As the livestream progresses, several men appear on-screen to tell C Jay Cox that he has been exposed for indecency while on livestream.

The tweet read:

“Cox was caught entering the home of a boy he believed to be just 15 years old, only to be confronted after engaging in inappropriate behavior. The mainstream media has not reported on this.”

The tweet had amassed nearly 15 million views at the time of writing this article.

For those uninitiated, C Jay Cox is a director and screenwriter, best known for working on multiple scripts, including Tornado Jam, Sweet Home Alabama, Giving Her Business, and more. He also directed the film Latter Days, in 2004, which follows a party animal who falls in love with a Mormon missionary. The film stars Mary Kay Place, Erik Palladino, Jacqueline Bisset, and more.

C Jay Cox is a Los Angeles based writer-director

C Jay Cox arrived in Los Angeles in 1984 to perform in theater. He ended up making his screen acting debut in the horror film The Offspring in 1987. Simultaneously, he made a name for himself as a screenwriter, with him receiving success with Sweet Home Alabama, which ended up making over $127 million in the U.S. box office alone.

The Brigham Young University graduate had his claim to fame after directing Latter Days. Speaking about directing the film with juxtaposing characters, Cox said:

"This movie isn’t strictly autobiographical. I pulled from big parts of my life. I have been both of those characters. At one point, I was raised Mormon and I was also once a missionary. Then just after moving to Los Angeles and “coming out,” I thought it would be interesting to put those two characters in a room and see what would happen between them. That was the genesis of the idea.”

The film ended up winning multiple awards, including the Audience Award for Outstanding First Narrative Feature at the L.A. Outfest and the Audience Award for Best Feature-Gay Male at the Philadelphia Gay & Lesbian Film Festival.

Vitaly has gained a reputation for being an internet vigilante who exposes alleged predators. He has collaborated with multiple artists in his live streams, including Ty Dolla $ign, YG, Swae Lee, The Game, French Montana, Akon, Lil Pump, and more.

His livestream sting operations have ended with some people facing legal consequences as well, including a man getting arrested in Miami this year after traveling to meet a minor for s*x.
