Celebrity hairstylist Chris Blake Griffith took to Instagram on January 8 to share his alleged text message exchange with Drake. This comes in the middle of the former’s feud with old clients boxer Gervonta Davis and NFL star Stefon Diggs. Griffith was seen urging Drake to acknowledge the song he wrote about Diggs, where it was alleged that Diggs was closeted.

In the text message screenshots of Drizzy and Griffith that were uploaded on the latter’s Instagram stories, Drizzy wrote in a message to the stylist that he did not live by the “code” of “ratting out” people. He added:

“We all just gotta deal with our own sh*t off of here… not telling you to be no super gangster or tell you what to do but it made me feel super weird you would think I would be into supporting this type of sh*t.”

In response to the same, Chris Blake Griffith claimed that he was not going to hold “no closeted gay man’s secrets.” Griffith added:

“I been off federal probation since 2020… I’m not letting a closeted gay man put me back on papers bc he’s zesty…. That’s foolishness.”

As per his official Instagram account, Chris Blake Griffith is a professional entertainment marketing manager. He has also released his mixtape with several songs like LIEM, Kevin Durant, Left A Message…, Family Tree, Pay UP, Dusse Denim Boyzzz, and Dess in STATIC, among others.

“Toxic masculinity meets vulnerability”: Chris Blake Griffith revealed that his personal life inspired his music

Chris shared an interview his friend Justin Reed took for him on his official Instagram account earlier this month. When asked to describe his music, Griffith said:

“Toxic masculinity meets vulnerability. Personal stories from my past, present, and projected future. All things tasteful and fashionable. “Clothes Make Me Happy” in real life.”

As per his official LinkedIn account, Chris Blake Griffith studied at the University of Maryland and Frostburg State University. The page also revealed that he had worked at Under Armour as a styling director in the past.

Chris Blake Griffith went on to become the president of entertainment marketing and sports relations with W&L Entertainment Relations & Management.

While conversing with Griffith, Drake discussed LeBron James, who Drizzy is seemingly feuding with after James sided with Kendrick Lamar during their feud. Champagne Papi said:

“Me and Universal is like if NIke was funding a campaign about Lebron cheating on his wife… not adidas or Reebok… Nike the company he been with since he started… my situation is not no street sh*t.”

Drizzy also discussed his feud with Universal Music Group in the text messages. He added:

“Your sh*t is personal and involves violence and I just think the way you’re doing it makes you look crazy.”

As the text messages went viral, live streamer DJ Akademiks, who is also part of Drake’s crew, took to X to claim that the text messages were fake. Ak said on X:

“Drake called buddy a Rat….. he got mad and made up some fake DM to try to make the blogs and go viral. End of story.”

Ak also claimed that Drizzy himself confirmed with him that the text messages were fabricated.
