The post displayed an envelope labeled "Dave," with a star drawing and sealed with a green wax stamp featuring the number 13, which is known to be Swift's lucky number. In the final slide, the BFFs shared a handwritten letter from Swift expressing her admiration for David Portnoy's support.
"Dave, I'm so happy to have you at the show tonight! I wanted to say thank you for always being so supportive, so loyal, and for having my back when a lot of people didn't. I hope you have a blast tonight!! Love, Taylor," the singer wrote.
While Taylor Swift did not specify the reason for the shoutout, it is known that the letter was handed by Swift's brother, Austin. David Portnoy also said on X that he met Austin and Andrea Swift, their mother, during Swift's concert in Miami, Florida.
