Former MasterChef host Gregg Wallace is currently facing criticism after 13 people have accused him of allegedly making inappropriate s*xual statements. These women had collaborated with him on five different shows over the course of 17 years.

As per The Guardian, a letter was written to the BBC in 2022 stating Wallace's alleged inappropriate behavior. In reference to the "pattern of behavior" of the Masterchef host, the letter stated that he:

“Clearly fails to meet the s*xual harassment and bullying standards that prohibit unwelcome s*xual advances and s*xual innuendo”.

According to a Sky News report on December 4, 2024, Gregg Wallace is facing new allegations, with two women alleging that he inappropriately touched them. In recent days, several others have come forward, claiming he allegedly made se*ually inappropriate comments, including a former contestant who recounted being left in tears after one such remark. The controversy has intensified as these accusations continue to surface.

Gregg Wallace was married four times. He married Christine Wallace in 1991, Denise Wallace in 1999, Heidi Brown in 2011, and his current wife Anne-Marie Sterpini in 2016.

Details about Gregg Wallace's personal life explored

Gregg Wallace married his first wife, Christine Wallace, at the age of 24 after meeting her at a Greengrocer's store and talking about fruits and vegetables. In 1991, they exchanged vows in an impromptu ceremony and then had a traditional London pie-and-mash dinner. However, they were married for just six weeks.

In 1999, Gregg married Denise, a pastry chef, and the two of them had two kids- Libby, now 26 years old, and Tom, now 29 years old. However, according to The Mirror, their marriage ended in 2004 after Gregg's alleged unfaithfulness.

In 2009, he met his third wife, Heidi Brown, who was 17 years younger than him, on X (Twitter). The former MasterChef host married the biology instructor in 2011. However, the relationship ended after 15 months.

According to The Mirror, during an interview with The Times, Gregg said:

"She was so ill and it's so sad... I've had some pretty bad press and people get me wrong. They think I'm a Millwall football hooligan and a womaniser, but I'm not. I like reading history books with a glass of fine wine. And family. Like I say, I love family life."

Gregg Wallace then met Anne-Marie Sterpini, who was 21 years his junior, on X in 2013 after she watched him test a recipe on TV and reached out to him. She asked him if rhubarb and duck actually went well together. Later, in August 2016, they got married.

In 2019, Sterpini gave birth to their first child, Sid. As per the same Mirror report, Wallace acknowledged his concerns about becoming an old parent in public but also stated that he was considering having more kids.

In 2022, Gregg Wallace's son, Sid, received an autistic diagnosis. In an interview with The Telegraph, Wallace stated that having another child "isn't something I would have chosen at my age," but he agreed to it to support his wife.

Additionally, as per The Mail’s December 4 report, amid the controversy surrounding her husband's alleged s*xual misconduct, his current wife Annie-Marie reportedly appeared to be "depressed" when she went outside on Wednesday.

When Gregg appeared on Kate Thornton's White Wine Question Time podcast in 2020, he reflected on his four weddings and said:

"Did I have lessons from each one [of my marriages]? The first one lasted six weeks. I would say don't marry anyone because you are worried about losing your house. So there is the first one.”

He continued:

“We bought a small house together in Bermondsey, and then we broke up, and I thought, 'Well, this is terrible. What is going to happen to the house?’ I have worked so hard all my life, what is now going to happen?"

Nevertheless, as per Sky News, Gregg Wallace resigned from his position as the host of the BBC cooking show following the charges.
