Who is Liz Plank? Co-host of Justin Baldoni's 'Man Enough' podcast quits in wake of Blake Lively allegations

Liz Plank, one of the cohosts on Justin Baldoni’s Man Enough podcast posted on Instagram on December 23, 2024, and announced her departure from the show in the wake of Blake Lively’s allegations. Informing the audience, Liz Plank wrote:

“I’m writing to you today to let you know that I have had my representatives inform Wayfarer that I will no longer be co-hosting The Man Enough podcast. Thank you for trusting me with your hearts and stories, for holding space for mine, and for making this show what it was. I will miss you, the listeners so much.”

She continued by thanking his audience and said:

“As this chapter closes for me, I remain committed to the values we’ve built together. Thank you for being here, for trusting me, and for being by my side for the last four years. We all deserve better, and I know that together, we can create it. I will have more to share as soon as I continue to process everything that has happened.”

She concluded his post by stating how she will “continue to support everyone who calls out injustice.” For the unversed, Liz Plank AKA Elizabeth Plank is a Canadian author and journalist, who is best known for being a correspondent at Vox and NBC News. She then started co-hosting the Man Enough podcast with Justin Baldoni and Jamey Health, where the trio interviewed celebrities.


Liz Plank has authored the book For The Love of Men: A New Vision for Mindful Masculinity

Liz Plank, who completed her education at the London School of Commerce, started her career in media with Mic and later moved on to MSNBC. In her journalism career, Liz interviewed many influential political figures, including Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. In October 2019, she also authored a book, For the Love of Men: A New Vision for Mindful Masculinity.

As soon as the book was released, it became a bestseller. Furthermore, she has also been a part of the Forbes 30 Under 30 in the media category.

Liz Plank leaving Justin Baldoni’s podcast has not been the only shocker for him in the last few days, as the actor was also dropped by talent agency, WME, on Saturday, a day after Blake Lively filed the lawsuit on Friday, December 2024 in the California Civil Court. On the other hand, Blake Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds continue to be represented by WME.

Blake Lively filed a 10-pointer lawsuit on Baldoni accusing him and his production company of s*xual harassment. The Deadline reported that in her lawsuit, Lively also claimed that “the hostile work environment that had nearly derailed production of the film.” She alleged that Justin often talked to her and her employees about his “experiences with s*x,” followed by a “description of his own genitalia.”

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni starred in It Ends With Us, which was released in August 2024. Apart from the duo, the movie, directed by Justin, also stars Jenny Slate, Hasan Minhaj, and Brandon Sklenar. Baldoni’s wife, Emily was also a part of the movie, as she played Dr. Julie.

On the other hand, The Hollywood Reporter stated in their report that Justin has refuted all the allegations, and called Lively’s claims “shameful, serious and categorically false.”
