Reports recently broke out of French-American social media star Lucas Coly passing away, following his manager putting up posts about the same. According to the posts getting circulated across the internet, Coly's manager claimed that the 27-year-old died by suicide, after a breakup with his girlfriend.
Fans also noticed a story shared by the influencer and recording artist on his Instagram (@iamlucascoly), where he wrote:
"I love yall."
The Instagram story along with the manager's claims raised questions among netizens. Users have now flooded social media platforms with comments trying to confirm if the news about his demise is true.

Born in July 1997 in France, Lucas Coly ran a YouTube channel with his girlfriend Amber. They were mostly known for making pranks and vlogs on their channel, called 'Lucas & Amber.' As mentioned before, Coly's manager reportedly claimed that the cause of the suicide was a breakup between the two.
Apart from YouTube, the social media star was also active on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. He initially rose to fame after he posted raps, in French and English, on the social media platform Vine. He reportedly had also posted songs on SoundCloud.
Coly had more than 400,000 followers on Vine before the app shut down. His Instagram account also has about 1.2 million followers, where Lucas shared videos and photos of him smoking rings. The artist's first music video was released back in 2013.
In 2016, Lucas Coly uploaded the mixtape Prince of France, which had about 20 tracks. A song from the mixtape, titled I Just Wanna, became quite popular and went viral on the internet. In 2017, he released his second mixtape, I Keep Pushing Vol 1, after the success of the first one.
Lucas Coly also became a part of the trio Tha Diamondz, with WillGottheJuice and Dillyn Troy. They are known for their acapella freestyles and skits.
