Paul Costict, the musician and Hip-Hop legend passed away at the age of 57 in his home in Norfolk, Virginia, on Saturday, October 21, 2023. He was a rapper and a member of the hip-hop group B-Rock and The Bizz.
The band saw brief success with their 1997 hit My Baby Daddy, a song that eventually peaked at Number 10 on the Billboard charts. His family and friends along with fans of the Hip-Hop collective paid tributes to him on social media and sent their condolences to his near and dear ones.

Paul Costict, the rap legend tragically passed away at the age of 57 on October 21, 2023. He was a part of the B-Rock and The Bizz band, which signed with Pound 4 Pound Records, a label based in Miami after being scouted at a talent show. Soon, they released the local hit Do Dat Dance in 1992.
The members of the former band included producer, rapper, and singer, Baron "B-Rock" Agee, his brother Leevirt Agee, Thaddeus "T-Bird" Maye, and Costict, as per the New York Post.
The Hip-Hop collective experienced success in 1997 with their hit song My Baby Daddy from their debut album Porkin’ Beans & Wienes which ranked at no. 10 on Billboard, and gained a gold certification. The accompanying gold plaque received by Paul Costict was fought over between him and his ex-wife, LaSancious during an episode of Divorce Court in the 2000s, as per the Mirror.
His ex-wife wanted the plaque for herself and argued that she was entitled to the memorabilia as Paul's money dwindled over the years, as per the U.S. Sun. However, the judge ruled in Paukl Costict's favor and he was allowed to keep the plaque.

Paula Costict, Paul's twin sister, took to Facebook and shared several pictures with her brother as she wrote:
"This hurts my heart sooo bad my twin brother Paul pass away on yesterday please say a prayer for my family. You will never be forgotten."
Thaddeus T-Bird Maye, who was part of B-Rock and The Bizz with Costict also shared a heartfelt tribute to his former bandmate on social media.
"This one really hit home I got tears in my eyes as I post this. PAUL COSTICT was a very funny and Kool brother. We go way back to Blount high school. We always janked. He was so funny.
