The Tesla CEO later took to X to clarify the conversation he had with Stallone. He shared the clip capturing them chatting and wrote a caption that read:

The tweet, shared on November 29, 2024, garnered about 19 million views and more than 165k likes within less than 24 hours of being uploaded. For those unversed, Demolition Man is a 1993 movie starring Sylvester Stallone, where he played the character John Spartan, a police officer.

The movie also featured Wesley Snipes, Sandra Bullock, and Nigel Hawthorne, along with Stallone. Released on October 8, 1993, the movie received mixed reviews from critics. It earned about $159.1 million at the box office, marking it as a successful project for the 78-year-old actor.

The dystopian sci-fi movie soon became a cult classic. According to Starlog Magazine, Sylvester Stallone initially hesitated to take on the project but later changed his mind. He even wanted Jackie Chan to play the role of Simon Phoenix, which Chan passed on.

Actor Sylvester Stallone compared Donald Trump to a "mythical" character

On November 14, Sylvester Stallone attended an event at Florida's Mar-a-Lago, where he praised the president-elect who won the 2024 presidential election. During his speech, he compared Trump to a mythical character and also to US founding father George Washington, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

Stallone claimed that nobody could do what Donald Trump did. The actor further added:

"We're in the presence of a really mythical character. I love mythology. And this individual does not exist on this planet. Nobody in the world could have pulled off what he pulled off, so I'm in awe."

As for Thanksgiving, not only did pictures from the bash at Mar-a-Lago go viral, but Donald Trump's tweet also gained the spotlight. The president-elect took to X on November 28, 2024, and wrote:

"Happy Thanksgiving to all, including to the Radical Left Lunatics who have worked so hard to destroy our Country, but who have miserably failed, and will always fail, because their ideas and policies are so hopelessly bad that the great people of our Nation just gave a landslide victory"

In the tweet, Trump declared that the US would soon be "productive, fair, and strong." Apart from Musk and Sylvester Stallone, Donald Trump was joined at the event by Melania and Barron Trump.

A clip of Musk and Trump grooving to YMCA at the event, with Melania and Barron at the table as well, also went viral. Many netizens enjoyed seeing the bond between the Republican candidate and the Tesla CEO.
