Social media personality TooTurntTony took to Instagram on December 19 to announce that he is likely not going to be posting content as frequently as he used to. The influencer claimed that he was in the middle of a federal district court case. Further details regarding the same were not made public at the time of writing this article.

TooTurntTony, whose real name is Anthony Dawson, said in his statement:

“Not the 2024 season finale I was hoping for but today I find myself in federal district court. Unfortunately, at the moment I do not know many details but if I do not post for some time, know I appreciate y’all and it has been an absolutely wild ride. I am beyond happy I was able to share my life with y’all.”

For those uninitiated, TooTurntTony is best known for his wildlife conservation efforts. He often shares videos of himself going on adventures and rescuing animals online. The 29-year-old had amassed over three million followers on Instagram at the time of writing this article.

As TooTurntTony did not share further details regarding the same, fans flooded the comment section of the social media post with supportive messages. Others asked him for the details of the legal case. Meanwhile, platform user @theerobarnold claimed that TooTurntTony was facing second-degree Conservation Violate Game Fish Rules charges. The platform user also said:

“Today Today was present without an attorney so a continuance was filed. In reviewing the case info available to the public, the charge is related to the removal of a sandbar shark from the water back in January.”

TooTurntTony went viral in 2023 after sharing his near-death experience with his rat

The Michigan native did not have normal pets as he grew up because he was allergic to many. He was surrounded by ducks throughout his childhood and also took to taking care of a rat. Last summer, Dawson went viral after revealing that he almost died while he and his rat were trying different types of cheese together.

TooTurntTony explained that he and his rat would often eat cheese and also make it a meal once in a while by adding other ingredients like basil, balsamic vinegar, and cherry tomatoes. Things reportedly took a turn when he decided that the duo would have mozzarella cheese that was made of organic cashew milk. Dawson reportedly did not initially know it was made of cashews, something he is allergic to. He explained in a video:

“I didn’t read the cheese which contained cashews, which I am deathly allergic to. It wasn’t long before my throat closed up.”

However, everything was okay in the end as emergency responders made it to his residence and provided help.

The influencer also garnered a following through his ocean cleanup project. He revealed earlier this year that he was traveling all over Florida with a group of experts to learn more about sharks. He shared online that he would be uploading videos throughout June and July that would document the same alongside clips of him performing stunts.

TooTurntTony shared with followers that profits made from the videos would be donated to an ocean cleanup exercise.
