Upscale Cracc, a sneaker reseller and musician, was shot dead in Soho on June 25, 2024. The Brooklyn native, whose real name was Javier Osorio-Mejia, had been featured in publications like Complex and Footlocker.

Police found him on the street, and he was taken to Bellevue Hospital where he died from his injuries. According to NBC New York, Cracc was attacked and robbed in the early morning, with the culprits fleeing in a black vehicle.

Meanwhile, Complex Sneakers has shared a tribute post on X, where they added a black-and-white photo of Upscale Cracc. They wrote that he was available for any new lineup of sneakers and continued:

"According to local news reports, he was the victim of a robbery that turned fata in Soho in the early hours of Tuesday morning."

The NYPD has already launched an investigation to find more details and no one has been arrested until now. The cops have also sealed the spot where Cracc's white Range Rover was parked.

He was active on LinkedIn and the bio says that he was a graduate of William Paterson University. He started his career by joining an advocacy program for Samsung Mobile for a year and joined Sprint as a Sales Representative in 2013.

He was an Information Technology intern at Public Service Enterprise Group Inc from 2015 to 2017. Cracc then came to Amazon as an Area Operations Manager and was the president of Vault 134 since 2022.
