Influencer Dearra Taylor has filed a lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend and fellow YouTuber Ken Walker, accusing him of alleged theft and embezzlement. The former couple ran a joint YouTube channel, Dearra & Ken 4 Life, between 2014 and 2021, when they reportedly broke up.

According to reports from The Neighborhood Talk posted on Instagram, dated January 2, 2024, Dearra Taylor has filed a lawsuit against Ken Walker, accusing him of illegally withdrawing money from their joint account. The couple had reportedly already settled how they were to split their funds, but Walker still took money from their account without Taylor's knowledge.

According to the lawsuit obtained by Royalty's World, Dearra Taylor has sued Ken Walker for:

"breach of fiduciary duty, theft by taking, theft by conversion and embezzlement, breach of contract, and unjust enrichment and other misconduct."

The lawsuit claims that Taylor and Walker started an LLC for their brand as a couple and earned a huge amount from their YouTube channel and brand deals. However, the couple split up in 2021 due to Walker allegedly cheating on Taylor. After their split, the couple had reportedly approached a business lawyer to split their earnings, according to The Neighborhood Talk.

At that time, Dearra Taylor had kept $80K in the couple's joint account for business purposes as they had decided to keep their YouTube channel. However, a year later, she found that the money was almost entirely gone. As per The Neighborhood Talk report, Ken Walker reportedly agreed to have used the money for allegedly paying "medical bills."

After this incident, Taylor and Walker reportedly decided to end their YouTube channel, with Walker promising to return the money he had taken. However, he allegedly never returned the money. In her lawsuit, Dearra Taylor reportedly demanded Walker return the money and pay his business taxes, which he allegedly dodged.

Taylor alleged that Walker stole $100K from their joint account DK4L, as per Royalty's World. She also claimed that Walker had changed the name of their shared Facebook page to Ken Walker, rebranded it, and began using it to post content alongside his new girlfriend. Taylor added that out of goodwill, she had contributed money from her solo earnings and brand deals to their account despite Walker allegedly cheating on her.

Further, Dearra Taylor claimed that she had also created solo content for their brand despite Walker refusing to film during the tumultuous time of their relationship. The influencer further alleged that Ken Walker was jealous of her success and allegedly tried to claim money from her solo deals and partnerships after their breakup in May 2021.

In November 2022, Taylor discovered that Walker had been taking money from their joint DK4L account for a year without her knowledge. He allegedly kept $40K from a Tesla loan collateral without returning her half of the money ($20K) - which they had agreed to split.

Dearra Taylor mentioned in her lawsuit that she had confronted Walker about the alleged stolen money from their joint account. However, her influencer ex-partner claimed to have used it to pay medical bills. As per the lawsuit, Taylor insisted the money was used before any medical bill was accumulated.

Further, she added that during their split, the couple received $200K each from a buyout of a joint property they owned. Therefore, Ken Walker should not have been low on cash. Despite promising to return the money, Walker never kept his word and has now claimed that he is allegedly broke and lives with his mother. She has claimed $100K in damages from her ex-partner, accusing him of financial misconduct.

Dearra Taylor originally created her YouTube channel in December 2014 and shared her first video with ex-partner Ken Walker in April 2015. Their joint channel, De'arra & Ken 4 Life, featured multiple vlogs showcasing their life as a couple. The channel had over 1.2 million subscribers. The couple also had a web series called De'Arra & Ken's Prank Show.

Walker and Taylor also reportedly got engaged in 2019 but broke their engagement in 2020. The couple reportedly split in May 2021. At the time of their split, they did not delete the content on their shared YouTube account but began separate channels of their own.
