Gen-Z political activist Harry Sisson recently took to X to call President-elect Donald Trump a "puppet president" controlled by Elon Musk. His comments came a month after the Republican leader defeated Vice President Kamala Harris in the 202 US Presidential elections.

On December 19, 2024, Harry Sisson tweeted that Donald Trump was controlled by Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk.

"Donald Trump is a puppet president. Elon Musk is clearly calling the shots and has completely taken control from Trump. This is terrible for America."

Fans were quick to respond to Sisson's comments, and most netizens criticized his thoughts.

"Does Harry Sisson realize he’s on 𝕏 when he’s criticizing Elon Musk? If Musk is so terrible, why does Harry continue to use his platform?," one X user wrote.
"Judging by the success of his companies, I’m ok with that," another user responded.
"We wish Elon could be president!!," another fan added.
"this feels like a paid DNC advertisement," a netizen opined.

Fans further criticized Sisson's thoughts:

"Did Alex Soros tell you to write that? Elon Musk is a Highly intelligent individual that was so kind to bring the American people a vehicle to voice our opinions without censorship. Also, we get to hold our elected officials accountable, they no longer get a free pass to do whatever they please," a netizen remarked.
"You literally have no idea what you're talking about. But keep crying. It entertains me," another fan jibed.
"I guess it's better when Putin called the shots?," an X user wrote.

Meanwhile, some fans agreed with Harry Sisson and shared their takes:

"Trump will fire him eventually. Trump needed him to win the election. He has now won the election. Elon is now just a nuisance to him. Watch," a user alleged.
"Conservatives lose their fking minds over George Soros, but Elon Musk’s unchecked influence is shaping national policy behind closed doors; the hypocrisy is staggering," another individual commented.

This is not the first time political activist Harry Sisson has been critical of Donald Trump and the Republican party. The 22-year-old is a law student at NYU and has been sharing politics-related videos on the internet. He predicted an overwhelming majority win for Democratic nominee Kamala Harris in the 2024 Presidential elections.

On December 18, 2024, Gen-Z activist Harry Sisson shared an image of himself with President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, on X. The influencer's post gained a lot of attraction online, recording over 6.1 million views as of writing. The caption said:

"Got to meet Hunter Biden today! He’s awesome. The whole Biden family is amazing and I appreciate them a lot."

Sisson has been a vocal supporter of President Biden on social media. The TikTok influencer was well-known for his pro-Biden content. In an interview with Semafor, Sisson spoke about Joe Biden and said:

"I think Biden and the administration need fighters for him. There’s just so much misinformation and so much unjustified disdain toward him. He just doesn’t get the credit he deserves."

During the 2024 U.S. presidential elections, Harry Sisson became a vocal supporter of Vice President Kamala Harris. Harris became the official Democratic candidate for President after Joe Biden stepped out of the race in July 2024 and endorsed his Vice President for the post.

Ahead of the election results on November 5, Sisson predicted an overwhelming majority win for Harris. In an interview with Scripps News, he said:

"I predict along with many other people that Gen Z will turn out in the highest rate in history. Now, of course, there are more Gen Z voters than ever. But these folks are not going to sit don't the sidelines."

Further, Harry Sisson referred to the ongoing war in Gaza and how it impacted the presidential elections. The young influencer said:

"It's tragic what's happening in the Middle East. The loss of life on both sides is awful. But I think that a lot of people have come to the view that not voting at all or not voting for Kamala Harris only leads to worse outcomes for the Middle East.
"Of course, there are going to be young people who still say 'It's a dealbreaker for me, I can't do it.' I think a lot of the people who initially were sitting on the sidelines have come around to vote for Kamala Harris and will be doing so today."

Sisson's predictions, however, did not come true as Donald Trump beat Kamala Harris to become the 47th President of the United States. The win marked the second time as President after his first term between 2017 and 2021.
