The 47-year-old New Yorker further added how she couldn’t “wait to share the details about this new adventure soon” with her fans.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that she may have had a fallout with the show’s lead host Josh Gates, thus leading to her exit.

In the wake of this, Jessica changed her social media bio to “Host on Discovery’s Expedition X Seasons 1-7.” She also made a post on Instagram and shared that she just “got back from holiday with friends” and wanted to give a “quick update” in “honor of tonight’s EXX premiere.”

She sent her best wishes to the entire cast and crew of the reality series, including tagging new host Amaro and her ex-co-host Torres in her caption.

“And to those who are asking why I’m not on this season, I’m working on something new with Discovery… Here’s a hint. It’s the weird sh*t that I love mixed with other weird sh*t that I love! The perfect combo. Have a great day everyone & look forward to more adventures together!” Chobot wrote.

In response, Phil Torres too gave her a shoutout in the comment section by writing: "You da best Jess. Excited to see what’s next for you! But don’t forget for the next ghost you see: It’s probably just an owl or a bat."
