Why is Mary Kate Cornett trending? Ole Miss drama explored as meme coin erupts in wake of online scandal 

University of Mississippi student Mary Kate Cornett was trending on X on February 26 after allegedly getting intimate with her boyfriend’s father. The story has taken over the social networking site with claims of a meme coin of her being created as well. The parties involved had not addressed the scandal at the time of writing this article.

X user @MAGAgeddon took to the social networking site to share an alleged screenshot of a Snapchat message that explained what Mary Kate Cornett allegedly did. In the message, it was said that the university student had finished her exams and got home early for vacation.

She then allegedly took her boyfriend, Evan’s little sister, to a basketball game alongside Evan’s father. After they finished watching over the child, Mary and the father reportedly dropped off the child at home and went out for drinks. The Snapchat message read:

“They went to like dinner and drinks and was like buying her drinks and stuff and then they like got with each other or something. And then, um, that was like the 1st time.”

As Mary Kate Cornett takes over the platform, the phrase ‘Ole Miss’ has also been trending online. For those uninitiated, the phrase is synonymous with the University of Mississippi.

Meanwhile, X user @DuragRebel also took to the social media platform to share a screenshot of what appears to be how the Mary Kate meme coin is performing. For those uninitiated, a meme coin is a cryptocurrency that is created while being inspired by viral pop culture moments. The screenshot of the Mary Kate meme coin also shared various allegations against Mary Kate Cornett and the father involved. It read:

“They got dinner after & got drunk & the dad assured her that he does this all the time (cheating on wife). The dad told her “I wanna f**k you where my son f**ks you” and they did it in the kids room. Boyfriend found out at time they broke up & then got back together”

Mary Kate Cornett allegedly cheated on Evan with his father, Erik Solis

As per @Magageddon, Mary Kate allegedly got intimate with Private Banker Erik Solis, the father of Evan. His LinkedIn page was taken down at the time of writing this article. However, a screenshot shared by the X user alleged that he worked at Comerica Bank and is a University of Texas alum.

As per the Snapchat screenshot, how Evan found out about the affair remains unknown. However, after he did, he was allegedly very upset and Mary Kate promised that she would never do it again. The description section of the meme coin, as mentioned above, also alleged that Mary Kate and Evan did not break up following the affair.

While addressing Erik Solis’ marriage, the Snapchat message read:

“But the mom knows, but she’s not getting divorced fully because of Mary Cape, but because the dad is like cheated on her before, like multiple times. So that’s like, why? But so bad”

X user @Baginpocket also shared a screenshot of Mary Kate Cornett’s Instagram account before she made the same private. Her username is allegedly ‘marykate.cornett.’

As Mary Kate continues to be heavily discussed online, X user @the3drunkbasta*d alleged that “she is one for the streets” in a tweet. While sharing a screenshot of Mary Kate making a payment of $150 to an unidentified person on October 17, the picture read:

“She cheated on him with another kid too and she venmoed him 150 not to tell anyone.”
