Why was SteveWillDoIt arrested? Internet reacts as YouTuber's family shares viral mugshot picture

YouTuber SteveWillDoIt was arrested on July 10, 2024, as per his family. They took to his official social media accounts to release a statement regarding the same. It remains unclear as to whether he has been released. Meanwhile, many have been taking to the internet to react to a mugshot of the content creator which has been made public.

According to SteveWillDoIt’s official X account, the content creator is in jail at the moment. His family revealed that they were “working on getting him out.” They went on to share a screenshot of the YouTuber’s mugshot, where he appeared to be wearing a costume mustache.

Popular Reddit forum r/h3h3productions shared further information regarding his arrest on social media. It has been alleged that the YouTuber, whose real name is Stephen Rocco Deleonardis, was arrested by the Orlando police department on charges of “trespass on property after warning.”

Followers have since taken to the internet to react to the news of his arrest alongside the viral mugshot. Many made fun of the YouTuber’s comical mustache that was included in the picture. Some comments online read:

“W mugshot tbh,” one X user said.
“Steve’s gonna clean up the jail while he’s in there like a true $HERO,” another netizen said.
“Steve looks different off camera,” another platform user noted.

The bond for Deleonardis’ release has reportedly been set at $500. Meanwhile, other reactions to the mugshot and his arrest read:

“The mustache is iconic hope he’s out soon $HERO,” an X user said.
“DAMN HOMIE THAT CHICANO MUSTACHE MADE IT HAHAHAHAHA,” a netizen said.
“Steve mugshot is legendary,” another platform user commented.

Further information regarding his court appearance was not made public at the time of writing this article. Meanwhile, internet users continued to joke about his arrest. Other comments read:

“the stache makes it so much funnier,” another X user said.
“Not Steve looking like super Mario,” an internet user said.
“That mug shot is epic! Long live Mexican Steve,” another platform user said.

Reports of SteveWillDoIt being arrested at Universal Studios appear online

Numerous X accounts, including @FearedBuck, @SteveEmpire_, and @DramaAlert, among others, alleged that the content creator was arrested at Universal Studios for trespassing after he disguised himself.

A fan page of the YouTuber shared a video of Deleonardis, reportedly wearing a Superman costume at the amusement park and lending money to a Mexican family. In the video, the content creator revealed that he was initially not allowed in the theme park due to his costume. Deleonardis said:

“I’m at Universal Studios. They just said that I can’t enter the park like a superhero and I’m the hero so here’s the thing, I’m going to find the first, I’m going to find one Black guy, give him five grand and one Mexican guy and give him five grand.”

SteveWillDoIt proceeded to gift the amount to a Mexican family, which left them in tears.

It is yet to be confirmed that this was the incident that put SteveWillDoIt behind bars.

SteveWillDoIt is a beloved YouTube personality who is best known for his comedic videos on the social media platform. However, he made headlines in September 2020 after revealing that his channel was permanently deleted by YouTube as he had allegedly uploaded content that went against their Partner Program Policies.

Nonetheless, he continues to be a fan-favorite content creator, especially on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
