Winter House season 3: Kyle Cooke discusses possible romance between Tom Schwartz and Katie Flood

Bravo’s Winter House has enjoyed considerable success and is now in its third season. In Winter House, a range of celebrities from different Bravo shows effectively go on a 2-week vacation in various cold places around the world. Considering the actual temperatures in which they operate, the kind of drama and sparks that fly should not actually be a possibility.

However, with some of Bravo’s major TV celebrities regularly showing up, the show has amassed a reasonable viewer base.

Tom Schwartz from Vanderpump Rules had previously claimed on the show that he was looking forward to meeting Below Deck's Katie Flood. The two, as various cast members had predicted, ended up having a lot of chemistry, as Kyle Cooke recently revealed during an interview.

"A best case scenario": What Kyle Cooke said about Tom Schwartz and Katie Flood's chemistry in Winter House

Schwartz had initially confessed his crush on Katie even before she had arrived on the show. However, Katie had admitted that she had no idea who Tom was, questioning whether she had been “living under a rock.”

The two eventually met and appeared to get on immediately. Kyle Cooke was seen joking on the show that Tom Schwartz, after his divorce with Katie Maloney in 2022, was intent on replacing “one Katie with another.”

He revealed to E! News in a recent interview that Katie had proved to be exactly what Tom needed:

"I think that they actually had a lot of chemistry. What's cool about Katie, she put it out there. She's like, 'I'm like a nomad, I'm a yachtie, I'm here to have fun.' Most chicks that say it's no strings attached are just saying that. But Katie Flood, she was like, 'No strings attached, Tom, let's have some fun.' It was a best case scenario."

While most contestants had arrived looking for love, Katie had claimed from day one that she was simply looking to have the time of her life. This led to immediate attraction between the two, who have been inseparable during Season 3 of Winter House.

Schwartz had confessed during an initial episode that he was not “feeling like himself,” and had effectively been depressed since the divorce. Katie also later revealed that she could tell he felt as if he “no longer deserved love.” This led to her taking a no-pressure, no-strings-attached approach aimed at helping Tom get “his mojo back.”

Kyle Cooke, who is one of Tom’s closest friends on the show, sang a similar tune.

"My sole purpose of that trip practically was to help him get his mojo back, because I just felt like he thought he was broken and there's never a shot in hell that he'll find love again."

Cooke arrived on Winter House from Summer House claiming that he simply wanted the best for the couple, adding:

"I love Katie, I want what's best for both of them. But I could just see it in his eyes that he needed to have fun. He needed to take his mind off things."

As the season continues to progress, a range of twists can be expected on the show. With episode 2 setting up Katie and Tom to take things further, episode 3 can be watched on Bravo, on Tuesday, 7 November, at 9 pm ET.
