Boxing champion Claressa Shields has commented on the latest social media buzz about hip-hop artist Remy Ma and her husband, Papoose.

On December 12, 2024, Remy Ma shared a screenshot of Papoose and Shields' alleged conversation on her Instagram, in which Shields is complaining to Papoose for not spending time with her. As a result, Claressa Shields weighed in on the comments section and alleged that Remy Ma has two boyfriends.

"This can't be serious! You have 2 boyfriends," Shields wrote.

On Thursday, December 12, 2024, American rapper Remy Ma took to her Instagram account to share an alleged private conversation between her husband, Papoose, and professional boxer Claressa Shields.

The shared screenshot's caption suggested that Papoose had fallen asleep while on the phone with Shields, allowing Remy Ma to view their messages. In the caption, Remy hinted that Claressa Shields might not be the only person involved in such exchanges.

"papoose dum a** fell asleep on the phone with @claressashields 😂😂😂 Laying in my house he refuses to leave . This bi**h supposed to be a world champion boxer and get scary a** hung up soon as she heard my voice 😂😂😂 Nowwww I'm telling everything ohhhh and babygirl u not the only one🤷🏾‍♀️," Remy Ma wrote in a caption.

The alleged screenshot displayed two prominent messages from Papoose and one from Shields. In the conversation, Papoose appeared frustrated, questioning why Claressa Shields had not informed him upon reaching home safely.

In response, Shields pointed out that if Papoose could not spend time with her, it should not matter to him whether or not she made it home safely.

Following the public post, Claressa Shields took to the comment section, alleging that Remy Ma has multiple boyfriends. In response, Remy Ma fired back, insinuating that Shields' claim may have been based on what Papoose told her.

"That's what he told you," Remy Ma wrote.

As Remy Ma mentioned in her caption that Shields is "not the only one," Claressa Shields took to her Instagram Story on December 12, 2024, questioning why Remy specifically tagged her if others are also involved.

"How a woman with 2 boyfriends be mad at a man that has a girlfriend. @remyma if I ain't the only one why the hell you tagging me ???" Shields wrote.

As of now, Remy Ma has not provided any further comments regarding Claressa Shields' Instagram Story. Papoose, too, has remained silent on the matter since the controversy began.

It remains unclear whether Remy Ma and Papoose are still married. According to Hip Hop DX, their relationship began to experience strain after Remy Ma was accused of infidelity in 2023. Allegations surfaced suggesting she had an affair with Eazy the Block Captain, as reported by All Hip Hop.

On October 17, 2024, Tay Roc referenced these accusations in a since-deleted tweet on X, implying that Eazy was frustrated over his married girlfriend being with her husband.

In response, Remy Ma questioned Tay Roc's comments in the post's comment section, to which Roc suggested he was referring to Eazy, tagging his X handle.
