Actor and comedian Marlon Wayans has slammed tech mogul Elon Musk for his mistreatment of his transgender daughter, Vivian Wilson after she came out in 2022. Vivian is one of Elon Musk's twelve children with three different women - his first wife Justine Musk (Wilson), Canadian musician Grimes, and director of Neuralink, Shivon Zilis.

In a recent appearance on the Club Shay Shay Podcast (released on September 16, 2024), Marlon Wayans criticized Elon Musk's treatment of Vivian while discussing his transgender son, Kai's transition.

“I don’t like what he be saying about his trans child. That made me mad. You don’t treat them babies like that. You don’t disown your baby,” Wayans told Shannon Sharpe.

The actor also remarked that Musk's treatment of his daughter made him want to drive his Tesla "over a cliff."

Wayans recalled his reaction when the actor initially learned about Kai's transition. Although it was difficult to adjust at first, the actor quickly adapted.

“As hard as it was, I think that it’s not important. It’s important what you went through; the five steps of grief, but I think it’s important that you get to acceptance. And I’m proud to say it took me a week. And it felt like forever, it felt like five years," he explained.

Maron Wayans concluded by talking about empathizing with parents who take a lifetime to come to terms with their children's transition. He implored them to reach the state of acceptance as quickly as possible.

“I’m sad to say, some parents and some family members and some people, it will take them a lifetime, and they’ll never get to that magical place that I’m at, which is just acceptance. It’s still my child, man. That’s my baby,” said the 52-year-old.

Elon Musk once said that he considers his transgender daughter "dead"

In a 2024 interview with conspiracy theorist Jordan Peterson for Daily Wire, Elon Musk slammed gender-affirming procedures, claiming that the treatment "killed" her daughter while misgendering her several times.

"I lost my son. They call it ‘deadnaming’ for a reason. The reason it’s called ‘deadnaming’ is because your son is dead. So my son is dead, killed by the woke mind virus,” claimed Musk.

The SpaceX and Tesla boss also said that he was "tricked" into signing documents without knowing what was going on.

Vivian Wilson is one of six children (five living) that Elon Musk shares with Justine Musk (Wilson). After legally coming out in 2022, she reportedly took the title of her mother as she didn't want to associate herself with the tech billionaire in any shape or form.

Vivian Wilson recently blasted Elon Musk after the tech billionaire posted a controversial reaction to Taylor Swift's Instagram post endorsing Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for the US Presidential Election 2024.

On September 10, Taylor Swift publicly endorsed Kamala Harris and called out the use of her AI models in Donald Trump's campaign. The Folklore songstress also raved about Tim Walz's efforts in promoting LGBTQIA+ rights, IVF, and other women's rights. Talking about Harris, she said:

"I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos."

Swift referred to herself as 'Childless Cat Lady' while signing off - a reference to JD Vance's comments on Kamala Harris in a 2021 interview.

That very day, Elon Musk took to X, writing:

"Fine Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life"

His comments were widely criticized on social media. Referring to her estranged father's post, Vivian Wilson wrote (via Instagram Threads):

"Also, yes, I saw "the tweet". Heinous incel nonsense is in fact heinous incel nonsense. I don't really have anything to add to it, it's just abhorrent. That much is obvious and if you don't see how then you're part of the problem,"

She continued:

"I would just like to say to my audience members, don't let people talk to you like that. It's disgusting, it's belittling and incredibly sexist. You deserve better."

Elon Musk has been a longtime supporter of Donald Trump and the Republican Party. He even compared the 78-year-old with Theodore Roosevelt on X after his first assassination attempt on July 13.
