"You don't know why my marriage ended"— Bobbi Althoff claps back at a hateful DM she received, addresses her divorce and kids

Recently, American podcaster Bobbi Althoff clapped back at a hateful DM she received and addressed her divorce. This happened after Bobbi uploaded a screenshot of a message from an unnamed user on her Instagram story on Tuesday, July 16, that read-

“Damn get divorced choosing fame over your now ex-husband just to get passed around by different guys weekly.”

The Instagram user referred to the fact that after almost five years of marriage, Bobbi Althoff and her husband Cory Althoff announced their divorce.

Nevertheless, Bobbi Althoff snapped at the person for the comment and said-

“I never respond to this comment that I've been getting a million times a day for the last year, but I am really sick of seeing it. Anyone who says stuff like this is so fucking ignorant. You don't know why my marriage ended, that we are both so much happier apart than we ever were together. That now our kids get to see two happy parents instead of zero.”

Podcaster Bobbi Althoff recently snapped at a person in her Instagram DM for their comments on her marriage and private life. Althoff said that she is "really sick" of people making "f*cking ignorant" remarks about her and her ex-husband Cory Althoff, with whom she has two daughters.

She stated that despite receiving the same comment repeatedly for the past year, she had never responded until now because she was tired of seeing it. She explained that she and her husband were happier apart than together, and their children would now see two happy parents instead of none.

The Really Good Podcast host added-

“I have never slept with someone I interviewed. I don't sleep around and I rarely ever go out. But you guys can't f*cking believe that a woman can be around men without sleeping with them. It's so frustrating that I can't post a single thing without comments about how I'm being passed around. Go live the lives you deserve and shut the f*ck up. And just because you don't see my kids doesn't mean I don't. You see what I allow you to see.”

Furthermore, in a different Instagram story, Althoff further said-

“Like do you really believe that it was my dream in life to be a divorced mom of 2 kids by 25? Obviously not. I'm obviously insecure about it & wish things played out differently in my life. But that's life, things don't always end up how we expect them to.”

The news of their divorce surfaced online following the announcement in February 2024 that she and Cory decided to part ways after four years of marriage. The pair, who have two children together, have not been together since July 4, 2023, according to court records that NBC News was able to get.

Stating the same in an Instagram post on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, she uploaded a photo of her and her husband. The caption read-

“As most of you have heard, Cory and I have filed for divorce. As sad as I am right now, I am so thankful for the time I got to be his wife. Our girls are so lucky to have him as a father & I am so lucky to be able to coparent with such an incredible father and person. While our relationship did not work out as husband and wife, we will always be friends and I will always love him.”

Meanwhile, TODAY reported that the document her estranged husband filed to the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles on February 7 stated irreconcilable differences as his basis for seeking the dissolution of their marriage.

The records further stated that Cory Althoff has requested shared custody of their two children, Luca, 3, and Isla, 1.
