The tweet had two side-by-side pictures, one of Krishnan's and the other of his face replaced with butter chicken.

"Here is what Sriram Krishnan would look like if he was butter chicken," the tweet read.

Another tweet accused Krishnan of being "India first," alleging his aim was to replace American workers with Indians.

"No matter what Sriram Krishnan says, he is INDIA First. No matter what the people around him say. Their only goal is to import more Indians to REPLACE American Workers," the tweet claimed.
