Comedian Aries Spears has garnered immense backlash online after recently commenting on Black women. The actor took to his Instagram account to share a “PSA” requesting them not to wear fake eyelashes. He had not publicly responded to the online disses at the time of writing this article.
On Sunday, July 7, Aries Spears took to Instagram to say that Black women did not “need” fake eyelashes. He said:
“To all my beautiful Black queens out there, I want you to know from the bottom of my heart, I love you, I respect you, you’re beautiful and you’re mandatory. That being said, can some of y’all please for the love of God stop wearing them big fake eyelashes."
He continued:
" You have no idea, are you not aware of how ridiculous that s**t looks?... It looks like you have pterodactyl wings on your face. You don’t need it!”
He went on to call fake eyelashes a “horrible look” and claimed that they looked like fake Brazilian Butt Lifts “for your face.” He ended the video by saying, “love and respect.”

What did Aries Spears say about colonoscopies? Comedian raises awareness about the life-changing procedure
On June 25, Aries Spears took to his Instagram account to reveal that he was getting a colonoscopy after doctors found two polyps. He revealed that he rescheduled his appointment with the doctor out of fear of the doctors inserting a camera inside his derriere. Spears said:
“We confuse getting a health exam, ‘cause a doctor put his finger in you’re a*s, with homos*xuality. Knock it off. Get the colonoscopy. They put you to sleep. You wake up, you don’t even know that your b*oty hole’s been tampered with.”
Meanwhile, Spears continues to garner the internet’s wrath for the s*xual assault lawsuit against him and Haddish. The lawsuit listed two incidents where Jane Doe, who was underage at the time of the reported assault, alleged that she was pressurized to mimic a s*xual act.
In another instance, the other anonymous victim alleged that he was coerced to appear in a suggestive video in his underwear alongside Haddish and Spears.
While responding to the allegations at that time, Spears’ lawyer, Debra Opri, exclusively told NPR that the former was not “going to fall for any shakedown.”
The case has since been dismissed as the plaintiff chose to rescind her accusations.
