90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise episode 6 aired on TLC on Monday, May 22, and fans were shocked to see April's behavior in front of her partner Valentine's family. She made a very awkward face after seeing his small home and made a gagging reaction after learning that his family was going to make processed meat for the family get-together.
April was shocked to learn that Valentine did not plan on moving to the US with her right away and called him out in front of his family. She mentioned in a very arrogant tone that she was the "breadwinner" of the family and that Valentine could not provide for her, given that she could not "live off a couple 100 dollars."
She also felt that it would make no sense to leave her physician practice and live an impoverished life in the Dominican Republic. April used a translator to tell his family that he was already "running behind in life" and needed to "learn multiple things" at a time to catch up, just like she did.

April has a successful clinic in the USA and also runs a business of her own. She told Valentine that she did not reach where she was by just learning one thing at a time. April kept on laughing at the mention of her moving to the Dominican Republic and her sister had to shut her down, by saying that they could discuss the matter later on.
90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise fans agreed with April's statements but felt that she could have said it in a better way. They called her out for disrespecting her partner and his family and also advised her to find someone within her tax bracket.
Valentine thinks that April does not give him the respect that he gives her
Valentine was shocked and "disappointed" by April's attitude in front of his family. He felt that she could have behaved better during the meeting. Valentine also said that April was trying to embarrass him by "putting him down" and saying all that stuff in such a rude tone.
April did not want Valentine's family to think that she was "entitled" but felt that it would not be "logical" for her to move out of the US.
