The iconic Air Force 1 sneaker model was designed by the swoosh label veteran Bruce Kilgore in 1982. The shoe was released as a part of basketball shoe lineup and immediately caught the attention of players, as it featured a comfortable sole unit and carried a minimalistic and sophisticated look.

The shoe model was constructed with clean lines, and in the last four decades it has continued to gain a status of becoming epitome of streetwear culture. The shoe model has continued to climb the ladder of popularity, thanks to GRs and collaborations.

The Nike site introduces the Air Force sneaker model and its pop-cultural relevance as follows:

"Debuting in 1982 as a basketball must-have, the Air Force 1 came into its own in the '90s. The clean look of the classic white-on-white AF1 was endorsed from the basketball courts to the block and beyond.”

The site adds about the model's relevance:

"Finding its rhythm in hip-hop culture, releasing limited collabs and colorways, Air Force 1 has become an iconic sneaker around the globe. And with over 2000 iterations of this staple, its impact on fashion, music and sneaker culture can’t be denied.”

The latest Air Force 1 Low "Multi-Color" sneakers are playful yet minimalistic. The upper of the shoe comes constructed out of leather material.

Most of the upper is clad in a pristine white hue, which is featured in perforated toe boxes to heels. The white hue is continued on the mesh tongues, laces and tumbled leather profile swooshes.

A pop of titular multi-colored hit is added on the exposed stitching around the profile swooshes and midsoles. Touch of colorful patterns are added on the inner lining and the collars to add a playful aesthetic.

Pops of ruby hue are added on the heel branding. A flair to the design is added with metallic silver overlays on the rear. The look is finished off with colorless white midsoles and semi-translucent milky rubber outsoles.

The pair is rumored to release in the coming months via Nike and select retailers for $90 in GS sizes.
