The debut of the Kobe 8 Protro "Halo" in August marked the beginning of a freshly established tradition within the Kobe brand. The all-white construction of the redesigned 2012 model served as an honorable tribute to the late legend while simultaneously celebrating the resurrection of the Kobe brand.

The date of August 23, also Kobe Bryant's birthday, was formally recognized as the date on which this moment took place. Nike plans to bring back the Kobe 9 in 2024, this time offering it in two distinct iterations: the high-performance Elite model as well as the more affordable EM version.

The former Elite model had a Flyknit upper and was available in high and low-top variations.

The latest shoe continues Nike's tradition of using the "Triple White" color scheme, which has proven so successful in the past. It's made up of Nike's Flyknit materials, including Flywire for a locked-in feel and Nike Lunaron for plush comfort. Furthermore, the carbon fiber midsole adds a layer of stability. The layout of the product is finished off with a white rubber sole.

The next iteration of the Halo series will consist of all-white renditions of the two 2013 models, according to information provided by sneaker insiders @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker Files.

At the moment, the Kobe Brand has decided to concentrate a great deal of its efforts on the development of just two models: the Kobe 8 Protro and the Kobe 4 Protro. The Kobe Brand will only expand its influence in the basketball world with the return of this ageless model, which is already among the most worn sneaker designs in the NBA.

Keep a watchful eye out for the forthcoming Nike Kobe 9 Elite Protro “Halo” shoes that are scheduled for the coming year. Those eager to buy them are advised to stay tuned to Swoosh’s official site or install the SNKRS app for timely alerts on launch dates and pricing information.

In addition to the Nike Kobe 9 silhouette, the Swoosh label has a lot to offer in 2024. The Kobe sneaker lineup will welcome many other sneaker designs that surfaced online in the past few weeks, including the Kobe 8 Protro, Kobe 4 Protro, and Kobe 6 Protro.

The “Gold Medal” and “Bicoastal” iterations of Kobe 4, “Radiant Emerald” and “Court Purple” variants of Kobe 8, and “Black History Month” of Kobe 6 are a few variants of the 2024 roster.
