Nike has a long history of creating iconic running shoe silhouettes. Over the years, the label has used its best technology to design these pieces. One of the latest pieces is Nike Vaporfly 3, aka ZoomX Vaporfly 3. The latest makeover to appear on the model is the Vaporfly 3 "Aquatone." The upcoming Vaporfly 3 boasts a lineage of all-rounder and runner-friendly shoes.
An official release date for the Vaporfly 3 "Aquatone" hasn't been announced by the swoosh label yet, however, according to the media outlet Hypebeast, the pair will be launched via the official e-commerce site of Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers in coming weeks.

Nike has launched countless shoes under its running sub-label, each designed by the industry's most respectable and knowledgeable minds. These running shoes have been constructed using the latest technologies, one of which is the Vaporfly lineage.
Nike debuted the iconic Vaporfly 1 sneaker in 2017, and it has since become one of the most desirable running shoe models of all time. As a result, the shoe has been developed in various iterations and makeovers.
The latest Vaporfly 3 sneaker model succeeds the Vaporfly 2 silhouette and helps runners to cover distance freely. The design's key updates include less weight, improved stability, smooth transition, and more energy. The shoe model is also one of the lightest running shoes. The official press release introduces the latest Vaporfly 3 running shoe model,
"Nike Running serves the future of the sport by designing for all runners — including those who want to push their personal bests to new levels. Enter the Nike Vaporfly 3, updated with continued refinement and improvement to make the leader of the supershoe pack even faster."
The sneakers are inspired by the stunning details of the predecessor Vaporfly 2. This time, the swoosh label focused on refining the shoe's weight the most. In an official press release, Elliott Heath, Swoosh label's Running Senior Footwear Product Manager, commented upon the sneaker model construct,
“The Prototype colorway of the Vaporfly 3 is again a nod to our development process, where athlete and every day runner feedback critically informs and guides our innovation journey from start to finish."
Similar to the Vaporfly 2, the shoe comes with a full-length carbon Fiber Flyplate and the ZoomX midsoles. The sneaker model further features a geometric midsole, which is constructed with convex shapes upon the forefoot. These shoes provide stability and comfort to runners.
The Aquatone sneakers come clad in a “White/Deep Jungle/Jade Ice/Clear Jade/Light Ultramarine” color scheme. The uppers of the shoe are constructed out of white Flyknit uppers and further feature many details.
The shoe featured padding on the heel, offset laces, and heat-welded elements. Branding details include profile swooshes, tongue tags, printed insoles, and micro swooshes. The look is finished off with reductive ZoomX midsoles and rubber outsoles.
The pair will be released at a retail price of $250 in the coming weeks.
