On November 30, Donald Trump announced Kash Patel as the next director of the FBI. In the wake of the announcement, conservative influencer Benny Johnson posted a video of a recent interview he took with Patel following Trump’s victory in the 2024 presidential election.
During the conversation, Kash shared how “trust in our agencies and departments” can only be restored by “giving the American people the truth.”
“And that’s what they feared about Donald Trump. He’s gonna come in there and maybe give them the Epstein list, and maybe give them the P. Diddy list, you know, maybe he’s gonna come up there and do all these things, and they’re terrified,” Patel shared.
Amid Kashyap Patel’s announcement as the new head of the FBI, netizens are theorizing that he would personally oversee that the Epstein and Diddy lists are made public after Trump takes office in January 2025.
For instance, X account Libs of TikTok shared a 17-second clip of Elon Musk and captioned it:
“‘If Trump wins, that Epstein client list is gonna become public’ - Elon Musk. Our new FBI director Kash Patel has promised to release the Epstein client list and Diddy party attendee lists. Nobody in Hollywood is sleeping peacefully tonight…”
Many people joined the conversation and shared similar reactions on the platform.
“I don’t think people realize what Kash Patel will do as FBI Director. Epstein client list – released. Diddy party list – released. Deep State criminals – indicted. Human trafficking cartels – dismantled. This is going to be biblical,” a person wrote.
“Can we get this guy a security detail of his own? I think he might need it. #KashPatel,” one person wrote.
"Both of these lists need to be released day one. Patel is the guy to do this. No other," wrote another.
“Kash Patel is coming to clean house. I bet the FBI is shredding documents, smashing laptops and mass deleting emails, documents and other information. The Epstein and Diddy List will probably somehow disappear in a few weeks,” a user wrote.
Others continued to chime in:
“People on those lists are Googling which foreign countries don't have extradition treaties with the US,” a netizen wrote.
“This needs to be accomplished. No excuses. Find whoever is keeping that list from the public and reveal all the names involved. People deserve to know the truth,” another netizen wrote.
“I'll believe it when it comes out. It matters not. God knows. No one gets away with anything. They only think they do. That's temporary,” an individual wrote.
“I think they need to keep quiet about some things and do a sneak attack. They’re given too much of a heads-up,” another individual wrote.
Kash Patel has previously demanded the release of the Diddy and Epstein lists
In September 2024, Kash Patel appeared on the Shawn Ryan Show and called for a “massive declassification” among various agencies and departments within the United States government and the release of the “Epstein and Diddy lists."
The former Chief of Staff to the U.S. Secretary of Defense said that the "truth must come out no matter how uncomfortable."
“You don’t think that Bill Gates is lobbying Congress night and day to prevent the disclosure of that list… Put on your big boy pants, and let us know who the p*dophiles are,” he said.
Meanwhile, in another post-election conversation with Benny Johnson, 44-year-old Patel accused the bureau’s current officials of sitting on the “lists.” He further claimed this was because of “who is on that list.”
Since his announcement as the new FBI Director, Kash Patel has received support from Senator Marsha Blackburn. She took to X on December 1 and shared that she was looking forward to working with the new bureau head and the release of “Epstein’s flight logs and black book” under his leadership.
Elon Musk also reshared a post on X carrying the November report by EconoTimes that mentioned Kash Patel’s claims of the potential release of the Epstein and Diddy lists. The Tesla CEO captioned it, “Yes.” Notably, he, too, has openly discussed the possibility of the lists becoming public under the Trump administration on multiple occasions.
On Saturday, the President-elect confirmed Kash Patel as the Director of the FBI under his rule via Truth Social. Donald Trump praised him as “a brilliant lawyer, investigator, and ‘America First’ fighter who has spent his career exposing corruption, defending Justice, and protecting the American People.”
Kash Patel will succeed Christopher Wray as the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Wray was appointed in 2017 by Trump for a 10-year term, which is now being cut short in the wake of the recent announcement in FBI leadership.
