Pierce Brendan Brosnan, born on May 16, 1953, is an Irish actor and film producer. He is famously known for portraying the character of secret agent James Bond in the Bond film series as the fifth actor to play the role.
Brosnan has been married twice in his lifetime and has five children, along with three grandchildren. He had met the Australian actress Cassandra Harris via her stepson, David Harris, who was the nephew of Richard Harris, shortly after he graduated from drama school. Brosnan and Harris started dating and purchased a house in Wimbledon. They got married in December 1980 and had a son together named Sean, who was born on September 13, 1983, and later pursued a career in acting.
Additionally, they resided with Harris' children, Charlotte (1971–2013) and Chris, and Brosnan adopted them after their father, Dermot Harris passed away in 1986; they subsequently took on his surname. During the filming of The Deceivers in Rajasthan in 1987, Harris was severely ill and later diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Sadly, Harris died on December 28, 1991, at the age of 43.
In Mexico in 1994, Pierce encountered American reporter Keely Shaye Smith. They married in Ireland at Ballintubber Abbey in 2001. Dylan & Paris are their two sons.

Charlotte was the mother of two children, Isabella Sophie, born in August 1998, and Lucas, born on April 16, 2005, with Alex Smith. Tragically, Charlotte passed away on June 28, 2013, after a battle with ovarian cancer.
