Selling Sunset season 6 was intense, especially between OG star Chrishell Stause and newcomer Nicole Young. Although the two have worked together in the past, the latter joined the cast in the latest season. Nicole was seen criticizing Chrishell from episode 1, followed by a big blowout in a later episode. Things didn’t end peacefully between the two ladies in season 6.

Chrishell and Nicole have talked about their dynamic in several interviews. Both have mentioned that they were not friends but co-existing “peacefully.”

For those unversed, the two realtors’ feud on the show was about to turn legal after Chrishell accused Nicole of drug use. The latter went through a drug test to prove her innocence and mentioned that she consulted her attorney to whether to sue Chrishell.

“We can just peacefully coexist”: Nicole Young on her relationship with Chrishell Stause

Speaking about her relationship with Chrishell Stause post Selling Sunset drama, Nicole Young clarified that they were not friends.

She told PEOPLE:

“We're to a point where we can just peacefully coexist. I think it's very normal in any kind of workplace for not everyone to be friends. So as long as we can just be in the same office, focus on our business — that's the best scenario that we can have.”

The beginning of their feud was when Nicole shaded Chrishell for an incident that happened three years ago. On Selling Sunset, the newbie stated that Jason Oppenheim once put her and Chrishell on the same listing. She claimed that she did all the work and the actress didn’t, and despite that, Chrishell got the credit for sales.

Nicole accused Jason of giving the listing to Chrishell as he had a crush on her. When the Days of Our Lives star learned about Nicole’s allegations, the two had a massive fight where she clarified that she didn’t receive any commission from the sale.

The next huge fight between the two took place when the girls went on a trip to Palm Springs. Nicole kept on shading the OG star on the same topic and then Chrishell responded by accusing her of drug use.

The actress said:

“'Cause you don’t have points and you’re on drugs. You’re on something. I don’t know what is in your drink or what you’re on, but…I’m just saying, I’m good with not having the conversation because it doesn’t seem like there’s only wine in your glass. You’ve acted cracked out all night.”

Nicole stormed off and broke down into tears. The next day, she took a drug test and mentioned that she consulted her attorney about Chrishell. On their last day trip, Nicole told Chrishell that if the latter kept on coming at her, she could sue her for defamation. However, no legal actions were taken against Chrishell.

It seems the rivalry between the two didn’t end as they were seen locking horns at Heather Rae El Moussa’s baby shower as well. Plus, Nicole threatened Chrishell in the preview of Selling Sunset season 7.

“A rabid dog with a bone”: Chrishell Stause dishes on the Selling Sunset newcomer

While Nicole Young mentioned her stand on Chrishell Stause, the latter also had a lot to say about her co-star.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Chrishell mentioned that she was taken aback when Nicole brought up an incident from three years back. She stated that she still didn’t get the point of why the newcomer was upset with her as she thought they were friends.

Chrishell said:

“I'm too tired, I'm not the one if you want your, you know, TV moment. Go somewhere else because I'm not going to be an easy target anymore.”

For those unaware, Chrishell had to deal with Christine Quinn’s wrath in previous seasons of Selling Sunset. Their feud was one of the reasons why Christine left the show.

Speaking further about Nicole, the actress added:

“Girl, you do whatever you wanna do. I actually don’t care, I’m not policing anything. Just stop coming for my business. What is the issue? You sound like a rabid dog with a bone, so is it that? Is it camera time?”

She continued:

“We are not friends. I think that you know so many things have happened at this point I'm fine with that, but obviously like I said it would be nice at this point to just kind of be not trying to tear down each other's business. I'm here to say she's great at what she does. I'm never trying to tear her business down but our personalities clash so I'd like if we can keep it to that.”

A lot of drama between the two ladies will feature in Selling Sunset season 7. Only time will tell whose side will Chrishell and Nicole’s mutual friends like Mary Fitzgerald and Amanza Smith take.

Selling Sunset season 6 is currently streaming on Netflix.
